I didn't do a thing to deserve this.
You have no idea how this makes me feel
My head is spinning in circles.
What the heck happened? What is the deal?

My heart beats a little faster today.
What is going on? I don't have a clue.
It happened after we spoke.
I just fell on my face. I really like you.

I need to stop a minute, catch my breathe.
These feelings are moving to damn fast.
I keep saying to myself this is a dream.
How could I possibly expect it to last.

It doesn't matter what I think.
It doesn't matter what I say.
I need to sit down, shut up and enjoy.
Tomorrow I may wake up to just a normal day.

I wish I knew where this was going.
This is not what I wanted to do.
I was just looking for a friend.
