Icarus the shy, young Elf,
Tried his hand at something new,
He’d searched his land far and wide,
But found nobody true.
He donned his hat and Elven cloak,
And set out on his quest,
To find himself an Elven maid,
Unlike all the rest.
Through lakes of fire and seas of ice,
Hardship, woe and pain,
He came through all unscathed, alive,
Prepared to fight again.
He’d find himself a precious jewel,
A Princess from a distant land,
To love beneath the silver moon,
And lie with hand in hand.

I'll admit not all poetry does it for me, but I like what I like (if that makes sense). And yeah, I like CCP's work and no_psychos_please (sorry, don't know your real name!)too. I'm still getting to know the cool poets on here, so no offence to anyone I haven't mentioned by name.
