your right im wearin a cowboy hat

but did you know or maybe care that

there are times that i dont care

and i jus sit and stare

almost awake but almost asleep and never aware

sometimes i talk and completly unaware

when you see me do you see what im hideing

scars from mistakes

tattoos that have a meaning bigger than most

pain of life that sears and grows

or

could you ever see me for who i am

an asshole at times

but a sweetheart otherwise

offer help at the drop of a dime

and kick some ass for a simple crime

you will always see want you want

but never think i dont know

you know what i told you and what you assumed

but now im teired of games

i sit and explore a world that never ends

with walls of fire that bend

here and there i search for one

so i expoler yet again but now instead of a world i search a mind

maybe this one could understand my mine

now im stuck in a place and time

and i cant get back even if i turn on a dime
