1 dog. 1 cat.

Funniest thing I have ever seen was when the dog caught the cat eating from his bowl.

I was standing at the stove ( the dog's bowl is right behind me ) and I could hear Mongo ( the cat ) crunching away. Jake ( the dog ) also hears this and from the corner of my eye I see him peeking around the refrigerator. I look over toward him, and he looked up at me, looked back at the cat, looked at me again, and kinda stepped around the corner.

I pretty much knew something was gonna happen. I figured maybe he'd go over and growl at the cat or something. But no. Jake walks up behind the cat, takes one of his big old paws, and blasts Mongo on the back of the head, face first into the dog food bowl.

Of course, at this point, I am pretty much in tears because I was laughing so hard.

The best part was, about 2 hours later, Jake is lying on the floor minding his own business when Mongo walks by and just stopped in her tracks. She looked at Jake and got this " Oh YEAH...that was YOU " look on her face and she jumped on his head and started chewing on his ear.

Jake didn't even flinch. He just lay there looking at me as if saying " Dude. Are you seeing this?? Are you gonna do anything??? "

Of course, again, I was just about pissing myself from laughing.

To this day ( two years later ) every once in a while Mongo will have a flashback about that incident and take it into her head that chewing on the dog would be a good idea.
