Maybe, but why risk it ?
The risk is loosing her. If you're not honest and
comfortable after 6 months, that may be a problem in itself. |

Physically, men have it easier. If you were to just sit around and be a lone wolf the rest of your life, it is easier to be a man.
When you are looking for love, it is easier to be a woman. All the men in the world will line up to cater to you. You will basically never be alone.
Where is this line??? I keep looking
and no catering either. |

Why do men die first
This is a question that has gone unanswered for centuries..But, now we know.
If you put a woman on a pedestal and try to protect her from the rat race ... you're a male chauvinist.
If you stay home and do the housework ... you're a pansy.
If you work too hard ... there's never any time for her.
If you don't work enough ... you're a good-for-nothing bum.
If she has a boring repetitive job with low pay ... this is exploitation.
If you have a boring repetitive job with low pay ... you should get off your lazy behind and find something better.
If you get a promotion ahead of her ... that is favoritism.
If she gets a job ahead of you ... it's equal opportunity.
If you mention how nice she looks ... it's sexual harassment.
If you keep quiet ... it's male indifference.
If you cry ... you're a wimp.
If you don't ... you're insensitive.
If you make a decision without consulting her ... you're a chauvinist.
If she makes a decision without consulting you ... she's a liberated woman.
If you ask her to do something she doesn't enjoy ... that's domination.
If SHE asks you ... it's a favor.
If you appreciate the female form and frilly underwear ... you're a pervert.
If you don't ... you're gay.
If you like a woman to shave her legs and keep in shape ... you're sexist.
If you don't ... you're unromantic.
If you try to keep yourself in shape ... you're vain.
If you don't ... you're a slob.
If you buy her flowers ... you're after something.
If you don't ... you're not thoughtful.
If you're proud of your achievements ... you're full of yourself.
If you don't ... you're not ambitious.
If she has a headache ... she's tired.
If you have a headache ... you don't love her anymore.
If you want it too often ... you're oversexed.
If you don't ... there must be someone else.
Bottom Line: Men die first because they want to.
 you tell me
You need to talk to BobbyJ.....not negative! |

Men have it easier. We don't have periods, don't get PMS, don't have to bear children, don't go through menopause, and we don't get less pay for the same job. Enough said!
BobbyJ knows women. Wow ladies if he understands all of that, he's a keeper.
He's done his homework...... |

OMG...nearly brought tears to my eyes...it has been years and years since I've had that sort of intimate, special touch. Yes, I miss it terribly and, no, it is not immature to feel that way! Touch & tenderness are basic...something we all need no matter our age.
It's a big world...I can't quit believing that I will find it out there somewhere with someone who is just right for me. Wishing that for all of us. .
Bless your heart.
I do believe there is someone waiting for us
too. Patience??? |

QUOTE: Well said! Just had an experience this week with someone that was at least 20 years older and 50 lbs. heavier. And the part that upsets me is the lying......I just can't see a reason to lie about who you are, or what you look like. Someone will like you for who you really are. Not who you want them to think you are...

From my own experience on dating sites, the members of the opposite sex that I have met in person rarely look like their pictures. I've met some who seemingly take dozens of pics and post only the one or two that are either at the right angle, light or shading so all "flaws" are hidden. Others I have met have put pics up that are sometimes even ten years old.
I keep recent, honest pictures of myself on the site and I would expect others to do the same. Whether they understand it or not, those who use dated pictures or only pictures showing their "best" pose are showing that they are deceitful right from the start. As soon as a potential mate realizes the deceit, the next question becomes; "so what else are they hiding?"
Yeah, we live in a visual world. I don't believe that there are very many women out there that don't realize how "visual" men are.
Being "visual" is part of every man's nature. Men being "visual" may sound shallow but it's not. It's natures way of driving males attraction to women and it's what motivates their sexual desire. Victoria's Secret sales is enough proof of that. Women are somewhat the same way, but overall, not close to the same extent as men.
Dating web sites are much like going to a bar or a dance. One sees the hottest looking members of the opposite sex and they pursue them and hold back from others who are more average in appearance. Just like in the bars and the dances, most everyone winds up not meeting anyone and going home frustrated.
My suggestion is just be yourself and don't try to hide anything. If you want to be accepted for who you are, then be who you are with no illusions. Stop targeting all of the 10's on the sites!
If you haven't frequently dated 10's in real life, why hold out for one on the dating sites. That's being unrealistic. Be open to the ones who have the not so great (but honest) pics and the ones who don't have a whole lot to say. You might find yourself surprised in finding the love of your life much, much faster than you might expect. Try not to be a "4 looking for a 10" like so many do, rather, just be a person looking for someone special.
Everyone is a "10" when the lights are out.

Only time, not another man, because you didn't
get your final goodbye. When you loose someone
you love, and will for a very long time, its
a feeling of deseration. It's taken me 8 years,
and you will still think of him daily. Your heart
finally lets it be ok. I'm so sorry you are going through this. |
