Get a better phone plan OR you can both download SKYPE and talk for free on the internet. This does not however help while her computer is out of commission.

I worked at a jewelry store (a real one, not claires LOL) and was trained to pierce ears. The FIRST time I ever did it on a customer, it was a 6 mo old baby. They scream bloody murder at first but are over it in a matter of moments.

I think its highly unnecessary to get them pierced before the kid can even object to it. Also their ears grow so much by the time they are grown up the holes are way too high up and look ridiculous.


Just sayin.

Dont listen to these people, they have no idea what piercings are like. I had 00 guages in my ears, tongue, nose and labret all at one time. It's fun and not permanent so just do it already!

DO IT! Worst case scenario is you dont like them and take em out. Piercings are cool like that.
