Willie Nelson, Jesse Ventura, Alex Jones and Jimmie Vaughan will all appear live at the Backyard Live Oak Amphitheater in Austin, Texas this Sunday 26th for the Peaceful Solution, Peace Revolution, Take Back America event, which will be streamed live on the Internet for free.
As well as a fantastic helping of live music from Willie Nelson and others, Nelson, Jones and Ventura will each give a speech and conduct a question and answer session during the course of the evening.
The title for the event originates from a lyric from Willie Nelson’s “Peaceful Solution” song.
The event will be video streamed live on Infowars.com and Prison Planet.com from 9pm CST onwards for free.
Both Willie Nelson and former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura have been vociferously outspoken in recent months against the 9/11 cover-up, the war in Iraq and the recent Wall Street bailout.
Nelson made headlines earlier this year after he told the Alex Jones Show he thought the twin towers were imploded like condemned Las Vegas casino buildings.
Ventura has been similarly forceful in his comments about the attacks throughout 2008, citing his training as a Basic Underwater Demolition Seal to call into question the freefall collapse of the towers and Building 7.

Landmark E. Howard Hunt JFK Confession Video Tape Ignored
Video tape revelations of former Watergate conspirator deserve mainstream attention in run-up to 45th anniversary
Paul Joseph Watson
Friday, October 24, 2008
The world exclusive E. Howard Hunt JFK confession video tape was released this week to a deafening silence from the mainstream media, while the dumbed-down general public attempted to dismiss the now deceased whistleblower Hunt, a former CIA operative and Nixon White House insider, as a mentally unstable drunk.
In the video, Hunt discusses LBJ, who saw Kennedy as an “obstacle” to the presidency, and how Johnson consorted with top CIA officials Cord Meyer and William K. Harvey to carry out the assassination plot. Hunt had direct knowledge of the plot because he was part of it in his role as a “bench warmer,” as he described himself.
You Tube comments in response to the video prevaricated not around the astounding never before seen revelations of Hunt, but centered on mindless charges that Hunt, whose original disclosure was the subject of a widely read April 2007 Rolling Stone special following his son’s release of an audio tape, was nothing more than “an old quack” or a homeless drunk.
The fact that the public would deny the gravity or the relevance of one of the key Watergate conspirators and dismiss his story as “lacking evidence,” despite Hunt’s credibility and his open admission that he was complicit in the plot, proves how deep a state of denial some people are still in about the malfeasance of which their government is capable.
The fact that people would demand physical evidence for the murder plot described by Hunt, in which he played a role, beggars belief. Do they expect LBJ to have written down his plans to kill Kennedy on paper? Do they expect to see a receipt for the payment to the gunman on the Grassy Knoll or a contract signed by Lee Harvey Oswald?
Hunt’s confession is the evidence, backed up by the mountains of other blatant indicators that Lee Harvey Oswald did not act alone.
The fact that Hunt sounds a little worse for wear in the clip, which some people have used to attack the credibility of his testimony, might begin to be explained by the fact that he had throat cancer, had all of his teeth removed and was dragged out of his deathbed to do the interview. That might put a bit of a crimp on someone’s ability to speak clearly, I would suggest.
E Howard Hunt’s deathbed confession needs to be treated with the gravity it deserves, it warrants widespread mainstream media attention - especially in the run-up to the 45th anniversary of the JFK assassination this November 22nd.
------------------------------------------------
It's funny how the same people just keep popping up over history.

Ron Paul Hits Out At “Arrogant” Greenspan
Texas Congressman says former Fed Chairman is “pretending” he didn’t see the economic crisis coming
Steve Watson
Friday, Oct 24, 2008
Texas Congressman Ron Paul has blasted former Federal Reserve chairman Alan Greenspan, calling him “intellectually arrogant” after he blamed free market capitalism for the current financial crisis and diverted questions away from his own actions.
“I think he’s trying to save his place in history but I don’t think he’s going to achieve it unless he confesses and goes back to his roots and goes back to writing articles for Ayn Rand.” Paul told Neil Cavuto on Fox Business yesterday evening.
“There’s no way he’s going to escape the blame for this, I guess I am shocked also that he pretends he is shocked too.” Paul, a member of the House Committee on Financial Services, commented.
Greenspan yesterday described the current financial crisis as a “once-in-a-century credit tsunami” and blamed flaws in the workings of the free-market system, something he said had left him in a “state of shocked disbelief”.
“What I really resent about it is that he knows and understood at one time what capitalism was all about. He went and distorted it,” Ron Paul urged.
“Now he says ‘this is the death of capitalism and what we need now are really really good regulations on derivatives.’ No, we need to remove the system that creates derivatives.”
Paul asserted that the Federal Reserve chairman, whoever it may be, does not have the wisdom to regulate monetary policy because they are driven to excess and are part of an inherently flawed system.
“In a way they are intellectually arrogant because they believe that only they know what the market knows. Nobody knows what the proper rate of interest is, it’s always too high or too low.” Paul said

Barack Obama puts his audience in hypnotic trance
By: D. H. Williams @ 11:57 AM - EST
Attending a Barak Obama rally has been described by some as a transcendental experience, like seeing the Beatles live for the first time. Obama’s speeches are mesmerizing thousands who leave with a deep crush on who they call a “transformational figure” and “greatest leader of a generation.” How does Barack Obama inspire such a cult like following?
Barack Obama is using the hypnosis techniques of Dr. Milton Erickson M. D. an American psychiatrist specializing in medical hypnosis and family therapy. Dr. Erickson developed the use of therapeutic metaphor and story. The power of body language and neuro linguistic programming.
While working with patients Erickson found he could hide therapeutic hypnosis within a seemingly normal conversation, thus avoiding the patients conscious resistance.
Erickson believed that the unconscious mind was always listening, and a suggestion could be made which would have a hypnotic influence whether in a trance state or not as long as it had some resonance at the subconscious level.
This discovery spawned an entire industry known as “covert hypnosis” and “conversational hypnosis.”
Trance states are so common and familiar to people that they do not consciously recognize them as hypnotic phenomena. Most people slip into trance state when doing everyday activities like waiting on a bus, listening to music, during an exercise routine and when watching television.
Through the use of conversational hypnosis pioneered by Dr. Erickson, Barack Obama is able to elicit powerful emotional responses from his audience which he then anchors to him. His followers do have genuine feelings for him because they come from deep inside themselves.
An examination of Obama’s speeches reveal the extensive and detailed use of conversational & convert hypnosis.
Barack begins by using the hypnotic technique of “Pacing & Lead.”
Pacing is simply making a statement about the patient or in Obama’s case audience that is absolutely true about their current experience describing what they see, hear or believe. Once pacing is established with the audience a lead or suggestion can be implanted. The suggestion can be obvious or hidden.
Here is how Obama does it. During the Denver National Convention speech Obama paced with the phrases, “that’s why I stand here tonight”, “now is the time” and “this moment.” He used these statements 14 times in this one speech. Remember pacing statements are absolutely undeniable factual statements to the audience that cannot be refuted preparing the conscious and subconscious mind for the “lead” or hypnotic command.
Obama uses “I stand here tonight” at the beginning, middle and end of speech.
1.)That’s why I stand here tonight. Because for two hundred and thirty two years, at each moment
when that promise was in jeopardy, ordinary men and women - students and soldiers, farmers and
teachers, nurses and janitors — found the courage to keep it alive.
2.) The fundamentals we use to measure economic strength are whether we are living up to that
fundamental promise that has made this country great - a promise that is the only reason I am
standing here tonight.
3.) But I stand before you tonight because all across America something is stirring. What the naysayers
don’t understand is that this election has never been about me. It’s been about you.
Obama uses“Now is the time” six times
1.) Now is the time to end this addiction, and to understand that drilling is a stop-gap measure, not a
long-term solution. Not even close.
2.) Now is the time to finally meet our moral obligation to provide every child a world-class education,
because it will take nothing less to compete in the global economy.
3.) Now is the time to finally keep the promise of affordable, accessible health care for every single
American.
4.) Now is the time to help families with paid sick days and better family leave, because nobody in
America should have to choose between keeping their jobs and caring for a sick child or ailing
parent.
5.) Now is the time to change our bankruptcy laws, so that your pensions are protected ahead of CEO
bonuses; and the time to protect Social Security for future generations.
6.) And now is the time to keep the promise of equal pay for an equal day’s work, because I want my
daughters to have exactly the same opportunities as your sons.
Obama uses “this moment” five times
1.) We meet at one of those defining moments - a moment when our nation is at war, our economy is in
turmoil, and the American promise has been threatened once more.
2.) This moment - this election - is our chance to keep, in the 21st century, the American promise alive.
3.) You have shown what history teaches us - that at defining moments like this one, the change we
need doesn’t come from Washington.
4.) America, this is one of those moments.
5.) At this moment, in this election, we must pledge once more to march into the future
In any given Barack Obama speech you can find Dr. Erickson’s entire manual on hypnotic therapy being used. Obama is a trained and well practiced user of the following techniques: trance induction, hypnotic anchoring, pacing and leading, pacing distraction and utilization, critical factor bypass, stacking language patterns, preprogrammed response adaptiation, linking statements/causality bridges, secondary hidden meanings/imbedded suggestions, emotion transfer, and non-dominant hemisphere programming.
This post is only a brief examination of the Erickson hypnotic methods employed by Barack Obama and his campaign to deceive the American public. His speeches are jammed packed with all the tools of the professional hypnotist. If you would like to read a detailed examination there is a 67 page sourced and footnoted PDF document here.

Ignored by her fellow liberals, Naomi Wolf pleads with conservatives to help her save the Republic.
Dear Conservatives, Will You Help Save the Republic from Military Takeover?
By Naomi Wolf, AlterNet. Posted October 18, 2008.
"I hope to persuade you of the profound moral repugnance a true conservative should feel for the plans that are afoot in this nation."
Dear Conservative America:
I am reaching out with a warning to you that is as heartfelt as the one I have been bringing my fellow citizens for months. But you are the most important audience of all for this, because you hold the key to whether or not we can save our republic in time.
I have been arguing that we are seeing the classic building blocks being laid for a police state: My thesis in The End of America: A Letter of Warning to a Young Patriot is that we are seeing the classic 10 steps being set in place that always underlie a violent police state. My argument in its sequel, Give Me Liberty, is that we must rise up as tactically and effectively as patriots to stop this suppression of freedom.
I hope to persuade you of the profound moral repugnance a true conservative should feel for the plans that are afoot in this nation.
What is the newest news? The Army Times declared that "beginning Oct. 1 for 12 months, the (1st Brigade Combat Team of the 3rd Infantry Division) will be under the day-to-day control of U.S. Army North" ... "the first time an active unit has been given a dedicated assignment to NorthCom, a joint command established in 2002 to provide command and control for federal homeland defense efforts and coordinate defense support of civil authorities."
They are tasked to help with "civil unrest and crowd control or to deal with potentially horrific scenarios such as massive poisoning and chaos in response to a chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear or high-yield explosive, or CBRNE, attack …"
What this means is that U.S. citizens can now be "controlled" by the military on our streets through technologies -- such as Tasers and rubber bullets -- that terrify and torment and stun but do not usually kill citizens the way that citizens in Iraq are terrified, tormented and stunned by U.S. military forces.
Who will be "subdued," according to the blueprint, if and when this military unit takes to our streets? The first group of Americans to be subdued is likely to be protesters; then, going by the blueprint, you will see the military using Tasers to subdue people who ask whether there is a warrant permitting agents to burst into their home, as happened at the RNC. People could be Tasered while protesting when voters are turned away by the wholesale purges of quarter-millions of voters from the rolls that Robert Kennedy Jr. has been documenting; or, there is likely to be Tasering and other kinds of subjugation of people protesting corrupted voting machines.
Why does this undermine American freedom? Federal laws, most notably the Posse Comitatus Act, have prohibited the military from being deployed within the United States for 200 years. Yet the Army Times reports that "expectations are that another, as yet unnamed, active-duty brigade will take over and that the mission will be a permanent one."
The founders sought to keep soldiers off our streets because they knew how easily a standing army could subdue a population. That's why the National Guard is answerable primarily to the governors of states and hence to the people of the United States. But the military is answerable to the commander in chief. These are the president's troops. The president now has a personal army. One definition of a police state is when the leader has seized control of the military to police citizens domestically.
Why listen to me? Not because I am a genius, but because this blueprint is so very predictive. Listen to me because everything that I warned would happen, according to the historical record, has happened, and I have documented the borne-out evidence of the crisis in Give Me Liberty.
I warned that the executive would soon simply start to subvert the rule of law. See what the administration has done in response to congressional subpoenas.
I warned that the torture we saw in U.S.-held prisons was certainly directed from the top -- a fact that Jane Mayer and others have fully documented since.
I warned that within six months we would see the definition of "terrorist" expanded so that the "terrorists" in the news would soon look like heartland, mainstream Americans. We now hear that mere protesters at the RNC in Minnesota have been charged as terrorists.
Another definition of a police state is when the leader seeks to seize control of big chunks of the national economy -- with no oversight or accountability. Sound familiar?
Consider this, conservative business leaders: What matters to a would-be dictator -- look at Latin America -- is that the leader is able to intervene in the economy and essentially use his clout and his cronies to intimidate competitors or manipulate the economic playing field. Dictators do not care if there is no middle class anymore in their countries, or no upper-middle class. Indeed, they are well served by the kinds of economies you see all over Latin America in which the cronies of the regime vacuum up wealth and intimidate their less-connected peers, in which the middle and upper-middle classes sink into misery while the poor simply suffer with little infrastructure to support them.
The coup has already taken place in terms of the laws that have been passed. With wiretapping, the mass arrests of protesters and the directive that allows the executive to seize control of all systems of government in the event of an emergency, the coup is in place, ready only for activation.
Is the Bush team seeking to calm or whip up fear in the face of the economic meltdown? Look at how many times Bush, McCain and Palin use the phrase "We're in crisis mode." Then think of FDR, with nothing to fear but fear itself.
The only way to stop the Rove-Cheney cabal from moving ahead with this coup without the headlines will be a principled and patriotic Republican revolution against this plan. That is why resistance from Republicans to the Paulson "rescue" was so very heartening.
It will take Republicans to understand that criminals have seized control of the White House -- and I don't use that term rhetorically: There are distinct crimes this regime has already committed, and deploying our military to police us is yet one more.
It will take Republicans across America to consider the lessons of history: In a police state, your politics do not protect you.
How will commerce proceed in such an America? How will capital flow? How will elections unfold? How will liberty be anything more than an echo of a fair and valiant recent past? This is not a liberal nightmare. This is the nightmare of any true conservative patriot.
Please speak to one another about this crisis. Please see it for what it is. And please join our transpartisan rebellion against the paper coup which is all too soon to materialize as boots hit the ground in the United States for the first time in a century. Please stand up for true conservatism, and stand up for a free America.

Tue 10/21/08 03:13 AM |
Again the false left/right paradigm is being thrown in the face of every American with the announcement of Bohemian Grove member and three time Republican administration insider Colin Powell will be part of Barack Obama’s inner circle.
“He will have a role as one of my advisers,” Barack Obama said on NBC’s “Today” in an interview aired Monday, a day after Powell, a four-star general and President Bush’s former secretary of state, endorsed him.
“Whether he wants to take a formal role, whether that’s a good fit for him, is something we’d have to discuss,” Obama said.
Powell denies that he knew he would be offered a role in the Obama administration before his appearance on Meet the Press yesterday. Suggesting that these sorts of things are just accidents and there are no private disscussions taking place off camera.
“I won’t lie to you, I would love to have him at any stop,” Obama said with a grin Monday. “Obviously, if he wants to show up he’s got an open invitation.”

Former child actor guilty over horrific yacht double murder
A former child actor was found guilty by a California jury on Monday of murdering a retired couple who were tied to the anchor of their yacht and thrown overboard while still alive.
Skylar Deleon, 29, who had a bit part in an episode of 1990s series "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers", faces the death penalty after being convicted of three counts of murder at a trial in Santa Ana, south of Los Angeles.
Deleon was accused of killing retirees Tom and Jackie Hawks in 2004 in order to steal their 500,000-dollar boat and life savings. He was also accused of killing another man in 2003 in a separate incident.
The verdicts had been viewed as a foregone conclusion after defense lawyers acknowledged Deleon was guilty in opening statements, an unusual tactic designed to save him from the death penalty.
The jury will begin deliberations on Deleon's sentence on Wednesday.
During the trial, the court heard how Deleon and two other men, John F. Kennedy and Alonso Machain, had sailed out with the Hawks' from Newport Harbor in November 2004 for what the unsuspecting couple believed was a test run. Deleon and his cohorts had been posing as prospective buyers of the yacht.
However once out at sea, the three men overpowered the couple, handcuffing them and covering their eyes and mouths with duct tape before forcing them to sign and fingerprint title transfer documents for the yacht.
Machain, who testified for the prosecution, told how the terrified couple were then tied to the boat's anchor and lowered into the sea. Their bodies were never found. Machain and Kennedy face trials at a later date.

But I really can't, for the life of me, figure out what it is about either candidate that people are so excited about.
They're both liars, albeit motivational, but liars nonetheless. I'm so appalled by the complete inadequacy of our own country to find candidates worth serving as president that I was, until somewhat recently anyway, planning on not voting. I guess I hoped that my vote, or lack thereof anyway, would get through to whatever social circle I have and really show them how pathetic the direction this country has gone is.
That all changed when Mccain chose what I can only guess is the closest living descendant of what I thought to be extinct: the Homo neanderthalensis, to be his running mate.
Sarah Palin is, by a wide margin, the stupidest person I have yet to see run for any office higher than middle school secretary of student government. So, after some deliberation, I decided I have to vote if for no other reason than to do my part in keeping her out of the White House, and in Alaska, where word is she can put all her extensive foreign policy experience to good use.
Overwhelming sarcasm and insults to Sarah Palin notwithstanding, she really isn't someone I want even thinking about possibly looking at anything that could even remotely be considered running this country. With John Mccain, the oldest person to get elected to office in American history if he does do so, and what I'm going to air on the side of caution and assume is recurring skin cancer, she'd be, quite literally, a heartbeat away from being president.
So no, I don't like Obama or Biden, and I'm not fond of Mccain, and Hillary is just as bad as all three, but Palin, I must say, has definitely gotten my vote.
P.S.
I would have voted Ron Paul given the chance.
I agree with your P.S.
Ugh, I thought the Skull and Bones election of 2004 was the worst that they could do, my fault for thinking I guess... |

People query me on these subjects quite often. My opinions follow. Price controls come with socialization (as with Medicare.) As finance socializes, there will be more controls. They begin with demanding reports from those regulated and then escalate. I think we'll see more controls of all sorts in the next administration and going forward. But it depends a lot on who's advising Obama.
Forget the amero for now. Canada loses. The U.S. doesn't gain. Only Mexico gains big. The timing for this is impossible now, anyway.
Gold won't be confiscated again. That was done in 1932 because the country went off the gold standard. No need for it today. Paulson could simply stop all gold trading in the U.S. if he wanted to. If that were done, the rest of the world would see it as a negative and pursue gold even more while abandoning the dollar. Americans would then turn their dollars into other real assets (such as land and other metals) and inflation would accelerate. Price controls would be necessary, and that is more likely in an inflation than singling out gold.
A sharp rise in gold will occur when traders foresee another sharp rise in prices (i.e., dollar depreciation.) Lincoln tried to suppress gold trading altogether in 1864 to stop the rise in gold prices. Gold instead rose even more sharply, and the legislation was rescinded in two weeks. He failed.
