My guess was Paul was gay and the type that is very fearful of females and their power.
There is also indications that the term "virgin" actually was initially applied to high Coven and Pagan priestesses and the direct meaning was:
"one of herself"
Nothing to do with sex because female priests had sex with multiple partners during ritual. All this was suppressed. |

Oh just kidding.
"Krimsa"... one sure fire way to prove existence to "Tribo" is to have him sit in a bathtub of water and then toss a live electrical appliance in the tub with him ..
this technique will not only prove his existence but may also cease his existence but atleast he would find out if God has existence
Yeah Im not doing that. Ive done my time, get the drift. Sam just needs to get back in touch. Pain may or may be part of that. Some people require this assertion when they have gone beyond depression but are sinking below that. Its not common. Hes online and functioning. |

Paul caused all that crap with the no marriage and women are sinful. That was unnecessary in my opinion. But ya know the Paganism and female high priestesses (who had sex with many partners as a ritual) probably caused some of that.

I think it's the Byzantine Catholics that burn it every Sunday Mass. I went to those a few times. I know frankincense is a popular incense in such rites and used a lot for Wiccans, but it is by far my least favorite scent.
Nag Champa is one of my favorites. My friend makes her own blend of loose incense every season and always gives me a bunch. I burn that and, of course, sage when I feel I need it. Always with the door open and the fan on.
I should not be expressing this on a open forum of course but those Catholic priests, they are deprived yes but they are human. Its an issue. I shall say no more. Nudge nudge wink wink. |

Yes thats right. Thanks. I did see that Simpson's episode in fact. Lisa became her cat and was batting around some yarn. There were all kinds of "transitions."

| What are those tanks called that they put people in and they are filled with water and they are lying on their backs cut off from any external stimulus aside from the water. Its totally dark. They were big in the 80s or the 60s. I dont know when they first came out. Remember that film "Altered States"? |

I dig it. It has a melodic quality. I can sense that even just reading it on a forum. |

Tribo doesnt know if he exists or not!! I'll hit him in the head with a frying pan and then maybe he can decide with a bleeding skull laceration and minor concussion. |

Well I live on an alpaca farm and besides them two dogs, rabbits, and 5 cats (one is a stray that showed up.) I guess you could safely say Im an animal lover and a man who dislikes animals would probably not want to be around me. |

| Well thats pretty subjective. I gauge my own existence by the extent that I can effect the environment around me. My "carbon footprint" so to speak but everyone understands it to be something different. Also, spirits have a much more difficult time manipulating the material world. At least that is how we always think of them. They might do some strange things but they cant interact to the same extreme that live humans can with their physical manifestation. |

Oh yeah, not a fan of frankincense. Its too oily and flowery. Thats an eye sweller for sure. People always feel compelled to burn a grip of it also. Even the Catholics. |

Uhh ya that sounds unbearable. She should have just canceled. I have trouble with incense sometimes even with ventilation. It can make my eyes burn. I LOVE the scent of Nag Champa but I just cant handle it when people burn like a box all at once. |

Ive actually had really good luck with Craigslist. Maybe not so much in the male companionship department but just about everything else under the sun. |

| Some Covens perform rituals and spellwork skyclad. Its certainly not unheard of. If someone is uncomfortable with that arrangement then they would have plenty of warning and Ive never had occasion to be forced into anything. But it does occur. |

What are you two arguing about? Whether or not cadavers can process stimuli from external sources? I will have to go back and read the entire thread I guess. |

Well being a hard-lined materialist myself. Notice I make this statment unashamedly. I tend to feel that there is no way to know exactly and its probably not important. As Rocco mentioned, if you jump off a building and cant fly, chances are, you are not in a dream state or in functional REM stage in that moment. So most of us have the capacity to draw a distinction.
However I would guess that everyone posting on this forum has had that WEIRD experience when you think you have woken from a dream and may even feel yourself moving and walking around and then you discover that you are still dreaming. Ive had that most assuredly and it scared the b-jesus out of me. Generally it only occurs when I am under tremendous strain or coping with anxiety.
It is also interesting that dreams and dream experience are interpreted in MANY ways and it can vary significantly from human population to human population. Culturally dreams mean something different depending on where you are in the world.
As an example. In African American culture sometimes dreams will be associated with precognition and foreshadowing of future events. It is believed in some cases that long since deceased members of the distant family can convey information to their living relatives in the forms of prophetic dreams. Sometimes the ancestors deem certain information so important that they send it to the subconscious mind without being consciously asked. This can result in prophetic dreams, rich in symbolism and unforgettable in certain cases. |

FYI....this ad comes up on my Mingle page quite often. It is the inspiration for this post.
It has very little to do with morality really. Some men seek out married women. They like the idea of sex with no strings attached and the women are willing to engage in this also. Its not to say that women never become involved with married men, however the general idea is that everyone is "getting what they want." The men are getting the sex with no commitment and the married women generally are starved for male attention and feel locked in loveless marriages.
Must you always come to my threads and post a "deep thought" post and kill my fun? Do ya???
What are you joking?? I give this thread about 10 more posts before it hits a nerve with someone and they become all emotionally involved and pissed off and a mod has to step in and start deleting. Obviously you are new to Mingle2. |
