This came up again this weekend...one of my daughter's slightly older friends and I have a similar (and sometimes sick) sense of humor and were laughing it up...said we'd get into trouble if alcohol were involved and she said something about it being weird if she had to call him "daddy!"

| Oh man...that was a frequent threat during the marriage and I finally had to get to the "I hope you don't but I can not make that decision for you" stage. I was scared to death he'd do it but it didn't happen. Now...all these years later...my answer would have to be the same. It is not in my power to control that situation but I certainly wouldn't egg it on, either...I would have to look at myself in the mirror in the morning. |
