I"m not a guy so i can't give you a guy answer but psychologically sounds like the guy's got some issues... latent "my dong's bigger than your dong" situation.
So ... this guy answered pretty on the money honest wise. most guys aren't goin to own up to even considering having an issue... but its out there and that sucks.

Sometimes I do, and I just see that as a reminder to myself to continue developing a thicker skin.

No. I find it much easier to leave the conversation and let those who prefer insults to ride the dramalama on their own.

Yes,once in a while, and that's just another reminder that I still have work to do on myself.

I think a lot of us fall in between those two. For me, some of it has to do with the day I had in real life. I'm more apt to have a stronger reaction if I've already been having a crappy day.

i think impersonal is the key word. ya know? thats a great way to look at it. regardless to how you take things.. taking into accounr how others may is a good way to keep things calm.
but there are times when no matter how you word something ... if you have to say ... say it. |

I've been surfing forums for soo many years now and one thing I've noticed is there are quite a few who can enjoy the debatist situation but some who become bent out of shape.
How do you take whats said on the internet?
Do you take it seriously?
DO you take it personally?
Do you attack others for their opinions?
and by attack i mean to you make it personal instead of sticking to the subject?
Do you find yourself sad or hurt?
