Dionaa, there's a possibility of that enhancement, sure. In fact, at least one of our moderators would be ecstatic if it happens.
Cool!!! When??
At this point, I really do not have an idea. I'm afraid that I can't even guarantee that it will happen. |

| If you'd like to email me the user name of the account in question, Lex, I'll check it out. It could be a scammer. Thanks in advance. |

| Send me an email with the user names of the people in question, LAMom. Perhaps those emails were caught by the spam filter. |

Lex, I'm fairly sure that scenario 1 is what is going on. If the user is in Stealth mode, she can click the 'Match with Him' button in your profile. That would account for certain ladies being out of your geographic range.
OK, thank you! It makes sense, it just confused me there for a little while!
My pleasure... it confuses me on a daily basis. |

Maybe the profile was a spammer and for one reason or another the site picked up on this and deactivated the account for them. If they were reported as spam by someone else maybe.
That's what I was going to suggest. We lock down accounts when it is clear that they are scammers. |

Thanks for clarifying. I sent you a couple of test emails and they did register next to your 'Mail' tab (it said Mail (2 new)), so I'd suggest that you empty your cache and delete your cookies to see if that helps.
As for the 'Recent Activity' box, you seem to be onto something there. It does not seem to register all emails, for whatever reason. It seems to be related to whether or not you have opened the email and the Stealth setting, but I'll have to do some more thorough testing. |

asianlove27, as noted above, you'll want to deactivate your account:
My Account --> Settings --> De-Activate Profile
Also, if you no longer want any emails from us, be sure to uncheck the appropriate boxes on the 'Mail Settings' page. |

| Can't argue with Hendrix' influence, but I've always preferred Page's riffs and solos. |

| Such a tough call, but I'll go with "Wish You Were Here" for the purposes of this topic. |

| If this is still an issue, shark996, please elaborate. Are you saying that the (x New) indicator is not working for you, for example? |

Interesting, but as they say in the article it would mean we were a special place in this universe, I feel we are much more random. Time will tell.
Long live Copernicus.
We would definitely not look at the Copernican principle in the same way, if this turns out to be true. I would not have a problem with our position in this new role, though. If there is a relative cosmic void out there (in here?), something has to occupy it.
Thanks for the replies. Good stuff!

I hope you find this short article to be an interesting read. I'm impressed by the creativity that is needed in order to test such hypotheses. |

| Thanks for the suggestion, enderra. If we do add these dimensions one day, we could make them optional. |

| There are benefits to both, Adamal29, depending on your aim. I am usually in Stealth Mode, but that is because I help run the site. You can always go in and out of Stealth mode, of course. |

Keep in mind that one does not even have to open a profile in order to be Mutually Matched with another. When accounts are being presented on the following page, one can act on the potential match without opening the full profile (as we give a profile summary on the page).

| Good advice, and those who are familiar with the web are well aware of this danger. In any event, the only way to deal with such people is to report them to us (using the link in the profile or in the email). Thanks, guys. |
