I think i'm a pretty strong person overall, but I have low self esteem when it comes to meeting new people. I want to meet the right person to spend the rest of my life with, but I don't know if it's my low self-esteem or the fact both my kids have health issues. My son has ADHD and my daughter has Epilepsy, CP, and Failure to Thrive. I'm a single mom dealing with this and I'm tire of doing it by myself. Yes my family is supportive, but they can only help so much.

You need someone that has that in common with you. Your children shouldn't change your self esteem for the worse, it should be for the better. The attention they need should make you stronger and you end up a more loving mother for that. Someone will recognize that for sure..

When the time is right the right person will come into your life, that will love you and your kids. I am the same in the fact that I have low self esteem, but I have different reasons. I just hold out hope that one day mr. right, not mr. right now will walk into my life. I have faith that the right man will come into your life.

Speaking from my own experiences..your self esteem has nothing to do with it..it's people's lack of willingness to accept the fact that there are ALL kinds of people in the world..and their lack of willingness to face a few challenges.

My kids have changed it for the better. My son alone did that because I was looking out for what was best for him when I left my husband 3 yrs ago. My daughter just added more positive self esteem

That would be tough on any single parent, man or woman. I wish I had words of comfort but it's hard raising healthy children let alone children that need extra attention. Good luck and I hope that this website will serve as an avenue to meet your soulmate.

Ssssshhhsss guys can't believe you would even say that!!
I hear ya it is not easy raising two kids both with their own problems. My son also was tested and had or has ADHD. He is 25 now well adjusted and you would never know he had any problems at all. I chose no meds until I just had to with him and then only during school so he could keep his attention on his work. I raised my two kids for 16 years by myself it is not an easy road but one that can be done just have to push forward and not let the hard times get you down. It will all be worth while in the end.
