Just wondering if anyone on the site was bi-polar or had experiences with someone who was.
Thanks!

Unfortunately, bipolar has nothing to do with polar bears. It can be a serious problem, with major ups and downs. I've always like roller coasters, but the emotional ones are ridiculous!

I'm not bi-polar myself, but my ex-husband is, and the 6 years we were married, the first was ok, but the last 5 years, he kept going in and out of the hospital cuz he didn't want to take his pills, so rather than have that the rest of my life, I left him in 2001!! I am a lot better now, I hated to keep after him to take them, I am not a nurse, I just couldn't do it anymore!

Love has nothing to do when they are violent as well as bipolar and beat you and leave you for dead!

My step-son is bipolar.. He' been in and out of hospitals because he won't always take his meds and does get violent sometimes...It's a horrible chemical imbalance that's hard on everyone around that person...
