So whats the greatest sports movie you have ever seen? why? Personally i would have to say Reversal. As to why well, its based on a true story and its about wrestling, which i did for 13 years. But really its such a raw look into what sports really are, the highs, lows, the sacrifice and yet i think anyone can really relate to it. but yeah you should all go watch it.
I found the trailer for Reversal incase anyone is interested.

Dana Brown's "Dust to Glory"
Documentary film following the SCORE Tecate Baja 1000, and in the process shows how offroad racing parallels the human existence. I always tell people, even if you have no interest in any form of motorsports at all whatsoever, you STILL need to see this movie

There is another great one, I can't remember the name. It is about an Olypmic Soccor team, whose plane crashes in the mountians, many of the team members survive, but they have no food, no radio and no possible way to survive if the leave the reckage.
Certain events take place and it becomes about the ultimate survival.
Another good one is Radio!

Rudy- Admit it. When Rudy runs onto the field at the end, you cried. And, you cried even harder, cheered even louder when he makes the sack.
Hoosiers will always be a top choice for me too.

What about the greatest sports comedy ever? "Caddyshack."
I like to watch "The Replacements" in the offseason so I can see some football.
"The Natural" is fantastic
I won't watch "Field of Dreams" with anyone because I cry like a baby when he gets to play catch with his Dad.

The Natural, Death Race 2000 (if you are including complete fantasy sports) and Murderball (if you are including documentaries)
