Okay well only one guy was ever jealous of my dogs and I just don't understand it.
I have three mini dachshunds... you know hotdog dogs and yes I take really good care of them. Can't stay over my SO's place because I need to be home to take um out and make sure their safe. So yeah it sucks that I cant just drop everything and be with a guy for 2 days straight but is it really that bad?
I figured it shows people that I have a big heart and that im responsible and maternal... but all it seems to do is turn guys off.
Believe me I treat my men as well or better than my dogs. I used to cook 4 course meals for my ex and clean his entire place, do his laundry and even have breakfast and everything ready for him in the morning even though he got up almost 3 hours before I had too.
Well after a year and a half with him he gave me an ultimatum... "If you except this ring you know that you can only have 2 out of the 3"... so ofcourse I picked 3 out of 4 and dumped the guy. Why do I have to choose? I guess I just havent found the right guy yet... but am I completely crazy?
Are having pets such a bad thing relationship wise?

Ya I went to this thing in Newburgh,Indiana for dogs and everyone kept telling me my dog wasn't a border collie it looked like some off the wall name for a dog, but she sure did catch some guys attentions with those beautiful honey suckle eyes of hers lol. so I understand how men can get jealous because they mostly don't see us women liking dogs lol

i love my dog.....but i love my cats more...

i have a rat terrier and everyone argues with me that she is either a Chihuahua,Fox Terrier,or a Jack Russell Terrier.
i hate that crap!.i've had her 7 years,i think i know what kind of dog i have

lol anyway weiner dog jokes aside... If I tell someone I love them and show I mean it why does it have to be a fight between them and the dogs? Why can't they accept them like i accept whatever they have?

I don't like women who bring their dogs into my house and they pee or poop on my floor or get into stuff. Its caused relationship problem when Ive had to tell them not to bring their animals over anymore.

Well..I have turned down going to a woman's place after the bar because I knew my dog would be stressing if I didn't go home. Try explaining THAT one to a woman....lol

You should never be put into a position of having to choose between a guy ( ANY guy ) and your dogs.
I can flat out promise that if any woman ever told me that to be with her, I would have to get rid of my dog...well..let's just say my dog would still be here.
You aren't crazy. You just love your pets.
