Most, if not all men when they remember that it is a holiday or birthday etc...just say..Aha! Ill buy her some roses because they wait until the last minute and dont put anymore thought into it...its the easy way out......its so cliche' and everyone is doing it..and its not for me...Id rather get a hand written note on the back of a receipt from the dollar store bigsmile

I actually never liked the idea of giving flowers as symbol of love or anything else, really.

"Here, a symbol of my love. 12 flowers that will die and shrivel up in 2 weeks."

Not my cup of tea.

But once for a girl I loved, I bought her a little violet plant. (Violets were her favorite.) I said, "Rather than buy you a bunch of flowers that will die, I thought I'd get you something that will take root, and live a long time."

I know what I have to do and I'm doing it tomorrow, I'm sure she'll forgive me and we'll move forward passed this. I know plenty ladies that still like flowers from their guys and I know of some girls that like it when their guy shows some jealousy.

Ok, back to you my friend. Its hard to find a decent woman or in your case girl. So when you do find one its best not to chok'em out with affection or overbearing behavior.
As a matter of fact there is this girl on one of the other forums who is in love with a guy she has never met. This guys been feeding her lines about going out to the country with his dogs on vacation. He told her he would be on vacation for 9 days and would make arrangements to meet her when he got back.

See what you gotta do is fill your life up with other stuff to do besides hover over a female. Women are like icing on the cake you make your life interesting and they will naturally want to be a part of it. They follow never let them lead or you are F@#kD. Oh and never stalk never ever stalk.

OK.. Hold the freaken phone!!!! I thought the same thing until I was 19 years old. You are not one of a kind in the Love Arena. Do you have any idea how many times a beautiful girl gets hit on in a day ..month or year. Women are constantly under the man scope. You do not have to believe that Hollywood bulls%$T. Want to know a secret?? With women its the little things that matter. put the toilet seat down.. open a door remember her moms birthday etc etc... introduce her properly to your friends. anything that shows her that you are considerate and thinking of her. Its not fireworks and putt'en her name up in lights. There are times that you can do that but everything does not have to be a world wind romance blowout..ya know women think some things are cheesy as hell.

Tom and I are on here and we flirt and carry on. We have made some awesome friends on here. As long as each other agrees, then there should be no problems coming here

Is it wrong? Honestly, the two of you need to talk and figure out what boundaries you agree to. Dating sites have forums and can be used to make friends, so it doesn't necessarily indicate a desire to cheat. I tend to flirt some without intent when in relationships, and I like being with someone who doesn't feel threatened by that. In my view, if they don't trust me, that's a MUCH bigger issue than anything else.

If you get back together, you need to talk about what's okay and come up with some agreements so you know where you stand and where the boundaries are in your particular relationship. That's the only really relevant bit.
