not via this site, but i did meet a couple of people from another site almost a year ago.
with one exception (we're still friends), they've all been complete and total wastes of time. one was an immense flake and the other was just plain inconsiderate.

you get what you pay for! i met a guy last year from this site. sadly his profile said he wanted one thing(LTR, dating, no 1 nite stands etc).
we talked on the phone 4 or 5 times and after a couple of weeks of emails and phone calls we met for lunch. now, i don't consider myself naive, but of course it was all about a booty call...
which i don't have a problem with at all (meaningless sex can be sooo meaningless)
it's just hate to be misled!
 so we trudge on, and play the game!

Not off this site, no... I've met a few people from other sites, like myspace. I actually met only one from there, but since my friends from other places have added me to myspace, which makes it that I've met about 5 ppl who are on my friend's list..
I also met a few people from BOM (bookofmatches) which went down the tubes in the past year (that's part of why I joined mingle ;) )

well top this, i met a girl from ireland off of cupidbay.com and like you i am on book of matches with no success... but a girl from ireland came all the way here to be with me for a few months, left and then came back for a few more months and we decided the long distance thing was kinda iffy... but in the end her heart was totally broken and i was sad:( she was really cute and that accent was nice!

I'm sorry you two didn't work out :( I haven't met anyone from here, as I said, but there are a few nearby who I've been talking to regularly, so who knows? I may meet someone from Mingle soon :)
