I was going to say, I'll bet 90% of us have gone through at least one marriage & divorce.
Welcome and best wishes. I hope you two get back together if it is meant to be!!

5 weeks, you probably haven't gotten to the sad and missing stage, much less through it.
But have no fear, you have blindly stumbled into a nest of extremely friendly people that will adopt you and help you out.
You're in good hands.
No, I'm not a therapist. But I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

Wow....it's been 2 years since my ex left the house and I'm still not totally through all stages of it all, albeit much better than I was 5 weeks in. Good Luck and watch the rebound stuff.......heal first!

I could be wrong, but I think it's different for everyone. For me, I didn't go out with anyone for almost a year. And then when I did, I felt guilty about it, like I was cheating, even though I was divorced. Others find it easier if they just jump back in and start dating again, to help ease the pain. Like I said, I think it's different for everyone.

thats kinda how i feel about it. i dont really want her to go look for a new guy so i dont feel like i should be looking either. on the other hand i dont like the feeling of being alone, so maybe that fogs my judgement.... grrrr ... lolol
