Hi. Im thinking of getting a web cam. I have a cable connection. Im looking for something that has fluid movement and color. Has anyone had a good experience with one or a brand/model they recommend? Thanks.

Why is that? The quality or it did not work properly or you just didn't like it?

Probably no more than $200. I cant go crazy on it but want something decent.

I have a logitech web cam, and it WAS crystal clear when I first got it, now it is blurry and fuzzy, it is time for a new one already after only 6 months.

Really? Is it the cam itself or was there any change in your connection speed? Thats what I dont totally understand. Is the picture quality and fluidity of motion dependent on the cam itself or how fast your connection speed is? Or will it only appear as fast as the slowest connection, meaning if you are connected with someone on dial up, to them it will look like crap? Do you know what this is dependent on?
Can you adjust your cam to improve it or its shot now for some reason? What happened do you think?

Logitech® QuickCam® Pro 9000 is a good one and it costs about $100. HD quality video and sound.

I bought one for a friend when they 1st came out and it hasn't had a single issue. It works right out of the box without even having to download or install drivers since they are in Windows XP

Okay. The least complicated (for me) the better. Also, where in my computer can I check to see what the specs are? Isnt there something where it tells you what you have exactly? Dont I need to know before I get a cam? Im running Windows XP but do I need to know how much memory I have and RAM/ROM all that?

For quality video you have to check how many pixels the resolution is the higher the better (under 2 is bad 3-4 & 5 good above 5 very good). As for it having fluent video it depends if you have a good quality one the video will be fluent when recording a video but when connecting to the internet it all depends on your internet speed.
