Just curious as to how we get holy water.
What makes it holy?
Who makes it holy?

It is simply blessed by a father or priest ......
And is great for chasing away demons.
True story,
My first catholic wedding I was an usher and knew nothing about that
religion. So I was doing the usher thing standing up front and got
trusty. Well there was this tub of water up front and I got a class and
drink it down... The bride who was up front looked at me with this
horrified face and asked me, "Did you just drinking that? That is holly
water” At that moment I expected to burn inside out but I did not burn.
For the record it really does not taste that good

God is no respector of persons. He came down to earth and lived among
the common people not the high priest or the scribes because no one is
better than anyone else. He even washed the feet of the diciples. So why
should a man with sins like everybody els be able to bless some water
and make it "holy". God is God and thats why we rever him, not any man

Please excuse my opinion. (I am not a christian).
God has never walked this earth. He is all things such a claim makes no
sense.
And if you are trying to convince me that Jesus was god...
I think not.
Not trying to offend just speaking my mind.

trae??? man im not even religious respect peoples faith, catholicism
is the oldest form of christianity it is what they believe and you are
obviously an " outsider" to their faith so why be negative towards it
like that and then preach about God and what God does.. shouldn't you
know God and be understand and recognize that everyone does everything
differently

he has never walked this Earth, he may have verbally " spoke" to adam
if you believe it to be literal ; however, no one has ever seen god
which is why there is not allowed to be any depicitions of God, but
only Jesus

I was speaking my opinion, not trying to be disrespectful and if I was I
apologize. But, sororitygurl4life, as a expert in the Bible you know it
says "holy and reverend is my name" which to me means not to call a man
that. You cannot recieve salvation through a human being. So I would
contest that you put your faith in God and not a man. But again, thats
my opinion

In addition the likely hood that a man in the middle east had blue eyes
and blonde hair is a little far fetched to say the least. But I dont
think that God wants us to focus on that and with us being his creation,
he knew that it would. Doesnt matter what he looks like, only that he
was

.. well just fyi the pictures of jesus don't show him with blonde
hair... and some people in the middle east do have fair skin and light
eyes just fyi.. if you're christian then you would know Jesus Christ was
a man and in order to receive salvation you have to put your faith
through him

to the contrary, he was not a man but God. And thats why to recieve his
salvation you have to beleive that he was the son of God therefore God
himself.
