Don't want to rattle anyone's cage here, but I will say this;I was under
the impression that anyone who is a member of the "Just Say Hi"
community was of a different ilk than other dating /chat sites. Imagine
my surprise to discover that you have to be the same colour as the
person you say "Hi" to ( this "gentleman" knows who he is) and is lucky
that I know when to reward ignorance with disdain and disregard insults
coming form small minded people. Having been a member for a very short
time, I am touched by the response I have recieved from some highly
intelligent people and was made to feel very much at home. If anyone has
a beef with the colour of my skin ( no name mentioned) then take it up
with my parents, they infomed me that I was a part of a very structured
society called " THE HUMAN RACE." So, THANK YOU, (you know who you are)
for pointing out to me that you are white and I am black so "it isn't
going to work." It does no harm to say "hi" your "white" status will
remain intact despite speaking to "one of them".I feel that I have done
my bit for interracial communications.................I gave birth to 2
beautiful bi - racial children!. Don't use this site to fuel your
hatered for others, be it black,white or the indifferent. Grow up !!!

So sorry that you came across this person. There is prejudice all around
us and I'm happy to say that I am NOT one of them. I would just chalk it
up as ignorance and try to get beyond it.

Bonny..I know how you feel..I've gotten that type of attitude from
several men before myself..which is why I now do not take the first step
in contacting anymore..you would think that in the year 2007 that people
would see JUST PEOPLE and not what makes us different..Well maybe one
day before they miss out on TOO many good people they will pull their

Cutelildevilsmom, it isn't the fact that this guy does not date outside
of his race, this is his choice. There are other ways of making a
statement without him dragging his mentality into the gutter, he could
have stated distance as a barrier, but I did not ask for a date, I said
hi, all he had to do was respond or ignore it. I was not asking for a
date or for him to father my babies................
