I'd probably just walk right by.
Sad huh?

Yeah but us guys are supposed to be more upfront so it's ok for you to be shy.

I'd smile at her but be too shy to speak.

I might or might not. I used to be a lot more shy that I am now. If she's walking alone I might speak a little.

I don't say anything, I don't even acknowledge who is around me unless my spidey senses are through the roof!

I think I'm with sincere on this. I'm just to shy to say hi!

Well, I'm a bit shy at first when it comes to the "saying something first" issue but the main reason is that I know women get hit on all the time so I'm sure if I said something, she would just think I was another perv anyway.
I know, wrong way of thinking but that is the way it is with me.

well you know what i mean. like those feelings you get when you should watch who is around you in case something happens so you can avoid danger. or when you can feel someone's penetrating stare piercing through you. most of the time, when people look at me, it is because i am wearing something really crazy. and then they point and say, "Hey look at that goth boy. That looks dumb." while very rarely someone might say "I like your style". So usually I don't wear stuff like that unless I go out to something big, and that is very rare because I don't go out much. Just bowling lately.

i think it depends on the girl really, if she gets hit on all the time then she might not want it, but some girls might shine from the attention

I might depending on my mood. I have an 8 am class and walk by a few good looking on the way there. unfortunately, I'm usually not awake enough yet to say anything. It also depends on whats going on and whether or not there is an opening to start a conversation. I would hate to come across as a creep and there is nothing worse than starting a conversation on a weak topic and having it just die on you. if you want guys to talk to you then wear something that they can comment on, like maybe a unique necklace or purse or something. then take it from there.

I guess the moral of this story should be, loosen up and take more chances. I bet if we all did that, many of us wouldn't be here trying to find someone cause we would already have them.
