Miguel,
There are times when one will speak his own experience while explaining the nature of their own religious beliefs. Unfortunately, as a result of anyone finding things completely unbelievable about any religion in particular, there will be those of that belief who become offended...
I cannot speak for anyone other than myself, however, I am sure there are those here who I may or may not have angered with my convictions...
It is not intentional... it is just what I believe and why.

I too do not intend to offend. I am blunt and strong willed and come off brusque sometimes but I believe each has a right to their own beliefs. My opinions are my own and when voiced may be interpreted as an attack but it is never meant as an attack.

Hi TLW (Miguel),
I do ridicule people for their beliefs, but only when they try to substantiate those beliefs for the purpose of defending any bias and bigotry they show towards others.
A persons Belief/faith, can indeed be proven, but the source to which that beleive/faith is attibuted can not be proven in this world. Therefore, it is illogical to attempt to do so.
The only purpose for such proof could only be to validate an individual ego, or as I stated previously, to defend their reasons for the judgement they pass on others.
