I'm a leftie in more ways than one. VERY Liberal in my politics and viewpoints, but old-fashioned when it comes to relationships.I LIKE TO TAKE THE TIME TO KNOW SOMEONE BEFORE....

I have two grown children who are amazing adults. . . and the most awesome grandson on the planet. Yeah---I was a good little Catholic girl, got married at 20 and had two babies by the time I was 22. Then 5 days after my 38th birthday I helped my first grandchild be born---very surreal. The screen name is a variation of my official G-mom name: Mimi. I like having adult kids, but would love to mentor some teens, or something on that order---I think I've finally figured it out, this parenting thing.

In spite of some very tough times, I'm generally pretty upbeat and easygoing---although I have my "dark" times. I find pretty much everything funny---life's too short to take much seriously. I've gotten through alot of life sh#* because of my sense of humor. It may take awhile, but I usually manage to turn a bad experience into a funny story.

Classic middle child---always keep the peace, keep everybody happy. Only girl with three brothers---they tortured the crap out of me. But, 2 of them are gay, so does that make a sister? Just kidding---so don't get all PC on me. They joke about it......

Likes: theatre--actually, that's more of a love---I'm a non-professional actress/director, iced chai lattes, movies, The Daily Show--John Stewart rules!!!, books, the OK_Go's video on the treadmills--the most clever thing I've seen in ages, Trader Joe's, Art, walks on the beach, rides in the country, talking about life, chilling with family and friends, mint chocolate chip ice cream, holding hands....

Dislikes: intolerance, rudeness, rap, most reality shows---except they are fun to mock, gravity---it wreaks havoc on a woman, spoiled people, stupidity, cleaning or doing the dishes, my butt, doing the laundry, hot flashes, people who are stuck in the past.   Send me a message!
