Posted a while back, but no real connections, so after a break I figured try again... (wait, isn't that the definition of insanity, doing the same thing and expecting different results?).

Oh well, ever the optimist, I will throw caution to the wind, or at least my dorky personal at the computer.

So let's see... distill myself and what I want into several paragraphs? Sure... why not give it a go? Well, the basics I guess are in order... gainfully employed in a job I make a good doing enjoy, and I'm very good at. So that seems to clear a hurdle that trip up more than a few here on craislist (wry grin). Single, professional, non-psycho... well.. of course if I was a psycho... would I say I was? Ugh... I loath trying to write these things. But, back to the task at hand... who am I looking for?

Well, one of the things I enjoy most has to be intelligent conversation, not to mention being with someone who has a great sense of humor. A bright mind to me is one of the most alluring qualities in a person. I am very interested in finding someone who is warm, caring, loving and passionate.

As for myself, I enjoy movies, conversation, eating, cooking and sharing the moment. I love almost all kinds of food and always enjoy trying new things. There is nothing better than good food (provided the company matches). I love to cook and have been told I am quite the chef (and can make a mean Shrimp Creole). I am a fairly light social drinker. I personally do not like to get 'drunk' per se. I would much rather be fully alert to enjoy whatever activity I am engaged in, though if you are 100% adorable, sexy, intelligent... I won't protest TOO much if you get me drunk and take advantage of me. Wait... that's an invitation to wake up with a hang-over and a missing wallet isn't it? Ix-nay on the getting me too drunk thing. (sheepish grin)

As a graphic designer by vocation, I also enjoy the arts, be they fine arts or pop culture. I am just as much at home taking in an art gallery or museum, as I am drinking at a McMenmins' theatre watching a low-brow comedy. I also have an inner geek, but you might never know it by appearances. I enjoy most types of music, and being a child of the 80s, disposable euro-pop has a particularly fond place in my heart. I enjoy reading, in fact one of my favorite pastimes is spending hours browsing in bookstores (hello Powell's).
