I'm a rather loud individual if you've hung around long enough. Short encounters with me may lead you to think otherwise. I'm a sucker for local music altho you can ask me about the local Minneapolis scene and I can't tell you anything. Ask me about Memphis music and you can't shut me up.

I grew up in Memphis and have left twice. The most recent time was Feb '06. There was a lesson learned there. No matter how badly you want those $300 concert tickets, make sure you don't use rent money to buy them. But oh it was a good show.

I'm in college currently. My plans to take a semester off got deflated simply by common sense. I'm intending to major in political science but who knows if that's what I'm actually doing. I'm also thinking about advertising and international business. That would be interesting.

But that's all surface material. I'm (hopefully) unlike anyone you've ever met. Unless you've met this wonderful person I remind you of, then I'm just like them. I'm loud, sarcastic, a bit of a smart ass, and not egotistical at all. Nah. I have a damn good sense of humor and I demand that you do as well. If you can't hold a conversation, don't bother. I like to talk, I like to listen. Not one or the other, but both. Gasp! I know, shocking, isn't it? I can be the nicest person ever, but I can be someone's worst nightmare. Exhibit A, this dumb**** I work with. Funny story, ask me about it sometime.

I have a love/hate relationship with my job. I'll be there for three years as of April '07, and I'm not sure if that's a good thing or bad thing. I don't think I've committed to something that long before. Hm, at least I know money is a great motivator.
