I am a veteran, formerly stationed at fort drum. I just relocated back to the watertown, fort drum area and am looking to settle back down.

Once I lose enough weight, I may very well decide to go back into the service, if that is what both my partner and myself want, or I may decide to continue on with my education and get a degree in either law enforcement (criminal justice), or in the political field.

I have sole custody of two wonderful children from a previous marriage. Under normal circumstances I would not have divorced my wife, however due to circumstances beyond my control, I was forced to choose between staying married (and her running around with whomever would take her) and losing the children, or going through the divorce in order to gain custody. I will gladly tell you whatever you want to know, later on down the line, but I think that covers it well enough for now.

I have not been to Church regularly in a couple of years, mainly due to recovering from the divorce (financially and such), but look forward to starting back up on a regular basis here in Watertown. When I AM active with the church, I like to sing in the choir, and lead different childrens groups. I have even been an assistant sunday school principle while stationed in Europe.

I am looking for a lady that can respect me enough to tell me if she is unhappy, or if I am doing something she doesnt like. I am after all, only human. A lady who is willing to go the distance to make the relationship work, because any relatioinship takes a lot of work.

I am NOT looking for a one night stand, or to have any kind of sexual relations until after we have gotten to know each other fairly well; a relationship should be based more off of mutual likes and dislikes, along with respect, without sex being a primary issue. Someday, we may find ourselves in the position of sex not being an option, and what will we do if that is all we had in common?

I do not drink very often, nor do I smoke, though I am guilty of doing both in the past, and I am not really into the club/bar scenes. I believe we can have fun without having to go and get drunk, or be turned into human sardines from the press of other people.
