Here is a little bit about my personality.
I'm friendly, optimistic, kind, easygoing, honest, self -confident, simple, smart, a romantic, financial stable, healthy, caring and all around nice guy. I treat people the way that I would like them to treat me. I'm somewhere near the middle between an introvert and an extrovert. I enjoy reading yet, I don't mind being in front of a crowd of people I don't know. I'm adventurous and spontaneous, but not wild. I love my 15 year old female cat most of the time, except when she wakes me up before 6:30 am on the weekends.

What do I like to do?
In the summer, I can often be found at the swim and tennis club where I'm a member, mostly in the water. I learned to scuba dive while in graduate school. I enjoy singing and most types of music, except rap. I like science fiction and history television shows and stories.

I've traveled through most of western europe, and also the grand cayman and grand bahamas and hawaii islands. In december, I visited machu picchu, peru and the galapagos islands, ecuador.

I'm a volunteer with the american red cross, central maryland chapter, emergency services of with over 20 years of helping disaster victims.

While the single life has been all right, I'm sure that it could be better with the right special someone to share the experience.
