Well, this is the part I hate but here goes. I have been widowed 9 years so let me get that out of the way. I am a nice, caring person who would do anything for a friend. I like to laugh and have a good sense of humour and I like that in a person. I'm easy to talk with, happy 99% of the time. I love all kinds of music...AUBURN football!! I love the beach and I love the snow! I love the smell of fresh cut grass, the sound of a baby laughing, clouds, sunsets, the sound of my mother's voice, puppy breath, and hot Southern evenings on my porch, sitting in a porch swing, rocking chairs, working in the garden, lying in the grass, Al Green in an outdoor concert, hiking, photography, going new places, a beautiful view, the smell of pine, Blue Spruce, cabins in the woods, hot baths, natural springs, flowers, Autumn, Winter, snow, catching a snowflake on my tongue, cuddling by the wood stove, painting, laughing til we cry, Celtic Music, a good book, a cool breeze, the smell of the beach and the sound of the waves, birds of all kinds, being of service, taking care of people.

Looking For Your Face

From the beginning of my life
I have been looking for your face
but today
I have seen it
Today I have seen the charm
the beauty
the unfathomable grace of the face that I was looking for

Today I have found you
and those who laughed and scorned me yesterday
are sorry that they were not looking as I did

I am bewildered by the magnificence of your beauty
