What really gets me is people who say "I have kids and they will always come first..." Okay, then WHY should I date you? When your kids are 25 years old you are going to baby them and ignore your husband / boyfriend? I have two kids and they wil sometimes come first, but if I marry someone, that woman should rightfully be the center of my universe. Your spouse should always be the one person you love most in the world. Kids will grow up and move away, but when you are puking your guts up at 3:00 AM because you had some bad Chinese food, your spouse will be there to hold your hair so that you don't get vomit on it. When I think of marriage, I would only accept such a relationship if I were the single most important person in her world. Sure, sometimes the kids come first, but not always. I really think that marriage has been cheapened by Divorce is so many ways...one being that a spouse is no longer considered our "better half". The spouse is the person who makes us a better person. It is the spouse who makes us love ourselves and life, even in our darkest moments. So if your kids will always come first, then don't bother emailing me. Because while I love my kids and they will always be an important part of my life, any woman I am willing to marry will be the most important person in my world.   Send me a message!
