I am an active independent and accomplished woman with lots of interests. I have good sense of humor and enjoy the company of others. I am an animal lover and a thoughtful, gentle person (except when I'm really mad!). I love to be outdoors - so much so that my bedroom has 5 windows and two skylights! I will participate in just about any sports activity particularly ones that involve my golden retreiver, Charlie. I also enjoy gardening, touring New England, traveling, being on the water in just about any capacity. I like to eat out and like all sorts of food (except most fish unfortunately!). I am likely to volunteer to help out with a worthy cause. I do read a lot when I am alone, books on health related subjects, novels, self help, 'how to's' etc. I love the summer rain and spend time in my hot tub under the stars when the rest of the world is asleep. I look forward to enjoying SPAC every year and Lena's on occasion. I like to travel, particularly sports or activity oriented vacations. I am commited to yoga and am exploring meditation these days too. I dream about writing a book of some sort but fear I will have to reach another life plateau before I'll be ready for the actual pursuit. For now, I read about writing.
I dream there is someone out there with whom I can form a lasting honest friendship. I share some interests in common with this person - he is intelligent and will want to learn with me what it is for us to be good friends and perhaps lovers. He will be financially and physically fit. He will sleep late occasionally. He will understand or come to understand cats. He will enjoy a fire on cool evenings. He will hug well and often.
