I hate to brag but it's kind of mandatory in a situation like this, so... I'm awesome. You wouldn't realize it right away if you met me in real life because I'm quiet and unassuming by nature, but if you were to hang around me a while you'd figure it out.

I would say I'm an intellectual, but that sounds so pretentious, and I'm anything but pretentious, so let's just say I really enjoy learning and thinking about stuff. I'm open-minded and I like discovering new things. I'm very opinionated but I'm not bothered by people who disagree with me. I'm an idealist and a perfectionist, but I'm also pretty grounded; a lot of times in a heated discussion I try to be the voice of reason.

I'm generally pretty accommodating and easy-going. I'll watch Sleepless in Seattle with you for the 11th time if you'll watch Kill Bill with me, I'll cook you dinner if you'll clean up, and I won't complain about your Tejano if you don't make fun of my Progressive House. I don't lose my temper or get into shouting matches easily.

I love laughing and I love to make people laugh. I would say my sense of humor is fairly dry and sarcastic most of the time, but I can also be really silly and random.

I'm very ethical but I have a healthy disrespect for authority; that means I always try to do the right thing even when no one is looking, but if I think a rule is stupid I'll break it and not feel bad about it. If you're going to tell me something is wrong you won't score any points be appealing to tradition, law, religion, or "common sense" (which is usually just some combination of the other three).

The astute reader will have guessed by now that I'm not trendy. I have my own tastes and I don't need anyone to tell me what's cool.

Finally, there are some things about me that should go without saying, but I know better so I'll point them out. I'm not mean, jealous, or controlling. I don't lie, cheat, or steal.
