I certify that I am a Southern belle in barefeet. I was born in the town of Jackson, Ms. Like most southern families, we lived next door to my granny,and I could make sweet tea and tater salad by the time I was three.I love my family and friends. I have 2 beautiful daughters.I have a very handsome grandson and a gorgeous grand-daughter. I enjoy spending time outdoors.

We southerners are very charming. We have our own way of saying things. We use expressions like "I'm fixing to" and "I reckon" and "it's over yonder" quite frequently. Places can be "down the road aways" and we are usually "good to go" when we're satisfied. If you ask for directions and we don't know, we will say "You can't get there from here".
