I just graduated from the University of Pittsburgh at the end of April with a degree in Civil Engineering. So instead of walking in graduation, me and my one buddy hopped on a plane to Italy where we backpacked for 6 weeks. I just survived the 22 hr trip from Pennsylvania to The Woodlands with my VW loaded down with all my crap. I start my job on the 23rd of June in Beaumont, Texas. So the biggest task I had was looking for an apartment and I accomplished that one with flying colors.

Well a little about who I am; I am a guy who likes to joke around and have a great time. I am very laid back. It is very unusual I am picky about anything. The only thing I am picky about is my running shoes. I love to work out whether it's running, lifting, wrestling, boxing, or kayaking. I wrestled while I was in college and took 6th at nationals on the Division II level. I've been looking for a sport to keep up with my thirst to compete at a high and intense level, and I think I have finally found it. I just joined a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu club and I'm loving it. I just got my first submissions today (Thursday Sept. 4 2008). So I am pretty excited about that. I'm picking it up pretty fast!!! On top of working out, I enjoy cooking and playing the drums. I watch the food channel to give me ideas on different things to make. As for the drums, my goal is get better every week so I can rock out.

So, now I've been living in Beaumont for about 2.5 months, and I can say I've seen the ups and downs about the area, however I am enjoying myself thoroughly!
