After pretty much spending my entire life living in Carrollton, I moved into an apartment in North Dallas (Richardson area) last winter with my friend, but I'm planning on moving back to Carrollton in November. Computers, technology, reading, movies, music, Texas Hold'em and sports. That's pretty much me in a nutshell. Most people see me as a big kid that refuses to grow up. I just love having fun and doing cool stuff whenever I get out of the apartment. I'm very nice, relaxed, laid back, and easy to get along with. Once I warm up to you and get to know you, I can be one of the best friends you’ll ever have. I'm a very caring person and I like to help out others, but I can't stand people who take advantage of my generosity, and I can be pretty harsh about it. As far as interests go, I’m a pretty mixed bag. I'm very much a night owl and I enjoy staying up all night and sleeping in all day, but once I'm awake, I'm ready to go out and enjoy the day, rather than stay inside and lay around all day. I enjoy going out to eat often, drinking and hanging out with friends, but I also enjoy my "alone time". I enjoy computer games and techie stuff, trivia, and board/card games (Monopoly, Scrabble, Risk, Stratego, Battleship, Clue, Fireball Island, etc.), wasting time at the mall, wasting time at Barnes & Noble, going to and watching all genres of movies and watching TV. I enjoy great, well thought out stories full of wonder and creativity that challenge my mind and make me think. I always try to see the latest stuff on opening weekend if I can. I'm very passionate about music (especially rock and metal). It's something that is very important to me and I honestly believe I couldn't exist without it in my life. I also enjoy watching all kinds of sports, but I’m mainly a fan of hockey and baseball. I also like mixed martial arts, Pride, and UFC. I'm addicted to Starbucks, various teas, Kool-Aid, and Hawaiian Punch. Other things I enjoy are anime, manga, pop culture, anything retro or from the 80s, dark/surreal and japanese style art (Yo****aka Amano, H.R. Giger, Wayne Barlowe), museums, aquariums, zoos, science, nature, animation, history, military, foreign culture and customs (I love all the cool stuff that comes out of Japan), and gambling (sports, Texas Hold'em, poker, blackjack, slots, horse racing). Right now, I’m just looking for someone that shares similar interests and I can really get to know and I enjoy spending time with. I'm not looking to rush into a relationship right off the bat, as I really like take the time and effort to really get to know someone before I make a commitment.

I’m a firm believer that it’s what’s in the heart that counts, and I always put trust, honesty, and loyalty above looks. I want to meet someone that is open-minded and is willing to experience new things and show me some new things as well. I want to meet someone that I can take care of in their time of need, but I also want someone that is independent enough to take care of themselves as well. I want someone that will stand by my side through the rough times and the good. I want someone that isn't clingy and has friends of their own they can hang out with when I want to "go out with the guys" or when I just need a night to myself. In a nutshell, I just want someone who’s honest, won't jerk me around, and won’t BS me. I’ve been burned too many times in the past and I can't stand people who play games or have drama.
