For anyone viewing this and interested in talking, I'm leaving on the 28th of September and won't be back until the 11th of November. I won't have access to internet or electricity for that matter, so I won't be able to respond within that time to any messages I might receive. Just thought I'd let everyone know.

Anyhow, my life may have actually found some direction at last. I'm planning on going to piloting school to become a helicopter pilot. This won't start until January as I'll be working for my dad for most of the fall as a back packer on two goat hunts down on Kodiak, but I've got my heart set on it. Also, I recently acquired a permanent seasonal job working for Fish and Game during the summers. I get paid to fish, so you can't really beat that, and I get to be active in the outdoors basically all day, four days a week. I love that job.

But about me...

I believe strongly in honor, honesty, and justice. I want to do the right thing and will always try to. There are certain things I will not stand for - I will not suffer racists or prejudice people. I'm a wildlife conservationist. Preserving and protecting the land, as well as the animals that inhabit it, are my top priority.

I am an extremely competitive person and I don't like to lose.. I'm also a huge perfectionist and I hate failing. I am an artist, a musician, and a writer - I love to put my dreams on paper (if only I were better at it). I was born and raised in rural Alaska and I still love it here, but I do like to travel and see new places periodically (I love castles). I've played sports all my life, mainly basketball and soccer, but I love football and I got into hockey for a while there about a year ago. I'd like to get back in a rink, but with gas prices as they are and me living as far away from the nearest town as I do...that's kind of difficult.

I'm also a hunter so it would be nice if I could find someone else who is too, or at least wants to hunt. It's been an important part of my upbringing and it will continue to be important in my adult life. Once you've had wild game, there's simply no going back to that store bought stuff (plus, it's a grand adventure, if you're into that sort of thing). Oh yeah, and I'm unique, different, etc... You know, like everyone else, haha. Seriously though, I guarantee that I'm a far cry from the average person, mostly because I've grown up hunting and living on the fringe of society .
