My life is pretty much an open book, all you have to do is ask me a question and it'll get me started. I just never know where to begin when telling people about myself.

I'm a single mother to a really great kid. She is the light of my life, and a miracle. Most of the time, when attempting to meet members of the opposite sex, this has been a huge sticking point. If you don't feel you can handle a strong, confident, caring, responsible mother, then you know what? You don't belong with anyone.

I am the type of person that would give you the shirt off of my back if you needed it, a place to stay if you couldn't find one, a shoulder to cry on if you were alone. I am like this for EVERYONE I meet. Unfortunately, I have been taken advantage of due to my kind heart. Burn me once, shame on you, burn me twice....you get the idea.

I like to have fun and laugh. Period, end of story. If you can't laugh at yourself from time to time then who can you laugh at?

I am passionate about my beliefs. But I do like to listen to others speak about theirs. Having extensive studies in philosophy my awareness of cultural diversity has increased ten-fold. I do enjoy a good healthy philosophical discussion every now and again, just as long as everyone agrees to disagree if necessary.

I have many, many, MANY interests which include but are not limited to: MUSIC is my FIRST and LARGEST interest (I cannot go a DAY without hearing or singing music. Just can't.), literature, art, sports (I am a big San Diego sports fan, regardless of how well they do in their respective leagues), nature, movies and movie trivia, paganism, magick, and crafts of all kinds.

I have an extremely eclectic taste in music. I like to listen to anything that appeals to my interests.

I have been known to throw on some Bach and Chopin while at home or in the car and listen to anything from the Beatles, the Turtles and Jefferson Airplane to Marilyn Manson (whose cover of Personal Jesus just pulls on my soul...), Korn, Ozzy, some Limp Bizkit every now and then and Slipknot while at work.

I have recently discovered that as a singer, I have a great voice for jazz & blues. BUT I LOVE the rock/heavy metal side of the house. There is something about a great guitar riff, the perfect bass line and precisely placed symbol crash that just moves me. I am working on perfecting my guitar playing in order to accompany myself on some songs that I have written. I am working on them from home, so that I may have full control over what gets produced.

I'm a movie buff. I make random quotes from various movies ALL THE FREAKIN' TIME! People think I'm a weirdo but, I like playing impromptu games of "Name That Movie". I don't think I have any specific genre that I will stick to. Although, that ever-growing collection of 80's brat pack movies may mean otherwise.

Although lately, I have been working my ass off in order to actually get into television, I haven't been able to watch that much of it. I enjoy CSI, and CSI: New York a great deal (thanks to my sister....thanks, Sissy!), but I literally grew up watching Law & Order. I cried when I found out that Jerry Orbach passed away. Let's see, L & O (all of them), Mythbusters, stuff on the Food Network, OH! YEAH! I also LOVE "What Not to Wear" on TLC. I've tried to get on that show for years to no avail. So I watch it closely.

Again, like music, I like to read anything that captures & keeps my interest. Which includes, but is not limited to sci-fi, fiction, philosophy, some true crime novels. I am HUGE Stephen King fan (although I may not always be a fan of all of his work)Bag of Bones is one HELL of a story! I am currently reading Laurell K. Hamilton (I got suckered into reading her Vampire stuff & her fairies stuff as well by my sister....but I like it a lot!). Oh, yeah. I was also suckered into those Harry Potter books as well.   Send me a message!
