Reserved by nature, I prefer meaningful conversations with friends to banal small talk and crowds. I love the world of ideas and get excited when I learn things that expand my conceptual framework. I really thought I´d be married by now. Family and friends are what matter to me the most. The older I get the more I treasure the people who are dear to me. Despite being fairly athletic I don´t enjoy competitive sports (watching or participating) and TV tends to be a sedative for me. I´m very independent and don´t need to share every aspect of my life with my partner, however, a certain confluence of ideas and interests is important.

I love to travel and have visited several countries, but equally enjoy a quiet cup of coffee with a close friend on a lazy Saturday morning. I also enjoy reading (Noam Chomsky, Howard Zinn, Richard Dawkins - to name a few), working out at the gym, long walks, BBC comedy downloads on my Ipod, writing, cooking, and gardening.
