I strive to find balance in all things in my life. I'm a geek at work and sometimes at home, but I also love the outdoors and exploring the world. I can be guilty of procrastination in personal chores, but when it comes to things I am passionate about, I'll skip breaks or get carried away and work all night on whatever project I am working on at the moment. I can dress up for a night on the town, have a low key evening with friends, or pack up for an exciting weekend in some new location. I also have no problem staying in, cooking dinner, watching a movie on tv or just hanging out.
As far as my other qualities, I could go on about my job, current projects and other things about me, but I don't really like talking about myself and if you get to know me, we'll have plenty of time to explore those details. I also tend to find that people are a bit biased when talking about themselves, so its better to just make your own judgements about someone and let them do the same.
I am very loyal to my family and friends, and keep up with people that I have met all over the country in my journeys. There is nothing like getting together with some old friends for a weekend away from everything back home, and at the same time there is something to be said for being home and having those close friends you can call on for anything.
I'd say that I'm looking for the quintessential girl next door with an unquenchable zest for life. Someone beautiful, well-educated, and elegant with the ability of a chameleon, who is able to move with ease and grace in any social setting from romping on the beach or camping in the mountains to attending a black tie event. In other words, someone who enjoys the variety of life, and can smile, laugh and otherwise just enjoy whatever path they are on.
I think we all have some ideals as to what we are looking for, and what we end up actually getting intriqued by doesn't always fit the criteria to the letter, but I feel its good to have a general idea and let nature take its course from there. I'm not looking for any specific outcome in meeting new people, just to enjoy the experience and let the experience be what it may. That road may be friendship, a relationship or something entirely different, but I just want to embrace the experience of giving whatever it may be a chance to happen.
Fear less, hope more. Eat less, chew more. Whine less, breathe more. Talk less, say more. Hate less, love more . . . And all good things are yours.
