I am a Renaissance woman for the 21st Century. A Painter, sculptor, poet, avid student of history, art, literature, and theology; and how all of these relate to each other.
Up until very recently, I had been a successful business owner providing professional services to people with developmental disabilities; a career I have enjoyed for over 14 years. I threw out the professional trappings and returned to the work I really enjoy; direct care. I opened my life and my home to a teenager with developmental disabilities. I have known him since he was six years old, and he is like my little brother. Being able to provide him consistent care in a loving environment is a dream fulfilled for me, for him, and his family. It is quite a different challenge, but so far has been a joyous one. With this situation, and with all things in my life, I try to approach any and all experiences with joy and excitement, and bring creativity, integrity, compassion and honesty to every thing I encounter.
A rare artist extraordinaire with long red hair down to there.
What’s missing? Love. Someone to share my life with.
Who I would like to meet:
I would like to meet an intelligent, caring, compassionate, creative person who will inspire me, and be likewise inspired by me. Someone willing to learn and to teach. Someone who can discuss the existence of God over pizza, and debate what defines art while strolling downtown. I want to meet someone who is fearless in their feelings, confident with their empathy, with wonder still for the world. Send me a message!
