I’m a simple man, and enjoy the small things in life. The best thing to me is being able to sit down after work, fire up a smoke and watch a movie, preferably with someone special next to me. Of course, that’s not all I do, I love to go out to dinners, or hit a couple bars with my friends, especially in Ghent.

I’m in the US Navy, and will be until August of 09’. Please don’t ask me my opinions on the war. I don’t like talking about it, as I have found that no matter what you say, people will not change their stance on certain issues, and when backed into a corner, end up calling you a baby killer. I have done one tour in the Persian Gulf, and will be returning for a second tour later this year. When I get out I plan on going back home to upstate NY, unless of course, I find a reason to move somewhere else that is. ;-)

I love to write, and am currently working on a novel that I hope to self publish by summer. It’s entitled “An Old Man's Stray Dogs”, a 50’s style crime/revenge book set in modern times, like the Sin City movie/books. I've posted part of the 1st chapter in the "Poems and Creative Writing" forum, so if anyone wants to check it out, feel free!

I’m also trying to learn how to play bass. I tried learning guitar, but for some reason it just wasn't clicking for me. :\
