I'm well into the healing process from a relationship that ended about four months ago, so here I am, back on Mingle2 and looking forward. I don't think I'm ready for dating again just yet (I'm getting there, though...), so I guess I'm looking for friendships right now.

I love to sing, play and hear great REAL gut-bucket Country Music and Bluegrass Music. I like schlock/horror/obscure B-movies. I like healthy, plain foods. I love taking long country drives on beautiful days.

I write songs when the inspiration hits me (28 of them are copyrighted). I haven't been active musically for a while, but things are starting to happen again a little bit here in CT.

I'm not one for going out to socialize. I'm not really into family. I'm not really into holidays, either [except my birthday and Thanksgiving dinner....I usually spend them alone, though.....]. When I am ready to date again, I'll really only NEED the company of that one other person.

I don't like sports at all.

I've had a hard life, which has resulted in my having to deal with some ongoing health and emotional issues/ailments/luggage.

I believe true love IS out there somewhere!

I put 'no answer' for religion, because though I am non-religious and atheistic, I do have a fascination for the darkest end of what can loosely be termed, 'the occult' and I'm also interested in the quantum theories of how thought can determine outcomes - I think my interests in this field are more psychology than religion.

I put 'no answer' for the 'children' question because the answer choices are all plural - I have one adult son in the Army.

I'm looking for honesty. I've already been through too many liars, game players and screwballs.

I'm being honest here to do some necessary weeding out - plus, I'm honest, anyway.
