I am a Christian man and I am hoping to find a Christian lady to be my friend, girlfriend, wife, and lifetime lover. I am an affectionate man, and want someone who is also affectionate. I want to kiss my future beloved goodnight, and wake up with her in my arms in the morning. I want to touch her face with my hands, caressing her cheeks, her lips... well, you get it.
My daughter (of whom I've had custody since she was 6 years old) says I am the nicest, smartest, funniest, and most affectionate person she knows. High praise from a teenager. Incidentally, she just graduated High School as Valedictorian! The little sweetheart has been working for this since she was in 7th grade. I am amazed at her drive! She did it all by herself with only a little encouragement from Dad. In fact, she prefers that I not push because she puts so much pressure on herself. She budgets her time and allows for play, too. She has the highest grade point average in the history of the school (1979). Am I a proud father? Yeah.
I would like to find an intelligent lady with a sense of humor. A bit of sarcasm is okay, too, as long as it is in fun. I appreciate a woman that enjoys making simple meals for her family. I don't eat many sweets, so she doesn't have to be a pastry chef. In fact, my main dietary vice is Pepsi.
NO SMOKERS!!! Also, if you can't have children or don't want them, please pass me by. I don't know when the Lord is going to return, and so I want to leave the possibility of children in His hands. If He chooses to delay, then I would welcome a son to carry on the family name. However, if He chooses to come soon (in the next 5 years maybe?), then perhaps it would be better not to take a child into the troubled times that are to come. The Bible says, "Woe unto them that give suck in those days". Bible commentator Chuck Misler says that the only times that he got into trouble in reading the Bible is when he didn't take it literally enough, so let's allow the Lord to decide whether or not to bless us with children since only He knows the future. And to be honest, the school system scares me.
My favorite pastimes are riding dirt bikes/quads, and playing racquetball. I had enough of camping in tents while in the army, so now I use a motorhome when I go riding. It is fully self-contained and makes the stay in the desert much more comfortable. I hope to find a lady that will like riding, too.
I am very handy around the house and can do anything on a car (I'm currently restoring a vintage muscle car), but I can't cook to save my life. It would be nice if she were to enjoy racing and classic cars, too. It would be special to me if she would enjoy keeping me company, or helping, when I'm working on a muscle (or hot rod) car.
I love dogs, especially German Shepherds. Ours passed away recently, and we are still hurting from it. We'd like another, maybe this summer.
Here it is, August 2007 already! Wow, how time flies! We got a new puppy! A little German Shepherd female. She is sweet as pie and really smart. Now comes the potty training.
It is now November and the potty training is history. The "puppy" is huge! She is only 7 months old and getting sweeter (and bigger) every day! I hope that sweetness is a reflection of her upbringing.
Everybody on these sites says that they look younger than their real age. While some of them do look younger, I think that I am a special case. I was faithful for 20 years in a marriage that failed, and the Lord gave me back the time. People who meet me in person guess my age at 38-40. Chronologically I am 59. Judge for yourself, but please meet me in person before you judge. Today a guy at the gym declared that I couldn't be over 45 (2-18-2008). The "Somebody Loves You" photo is not a good one. It is the only closeup I have. My hair is really brown, not black, and my skin is nice, not blotchy. I hope that you can get past the bad photo.   Send me a message!
