I love to write poetry, short stories and someday will self-publish many books; I especially like women who take care of themselves both physically and emotionally; I'd much rather pay a mechanic, plumber, or carpenter than fix something myself (you can’t beat a man at his trade); I would choose solitude, nature, peace and quiet over a large crowded event in the inner city; I'd prefer a quiet space out in the country over a busy city street any day; I love my dog Koko, hiking, peace and quiet; playing music, giving guitar lessons, and natural beauty of all kinds; my main passion in life right now is studying hard at the university and working toward my PhD (someday), my major for the PhD will be a PhD in business management with a concentration in strategy, globalization, international business, and employment issues; I don't much like big cities but in my profession I am a bright manager, a professional, and one of the best at what I do and nobody's fool; I never drink, I find no enjoyment in wasting time watching sporting events on TV, (I haven’t owned a TV [by choice] for 7 years) and I consider myself to be a sincere, romantic man; most importantly I love to laugh and I feel if I can make you laugh I have found a way into your heart.

I have been divorced for 5 years and I am not currently dating anyone. I am very slow and patient to make a decision toward a significant other. I believe the best way to start a relationship is to first use patience and respect to develop a very good friendship, then let God build what He would with your lives as they grow closer together.
I’m a big guy (non-fat 21”-diameter calf muscles***… LOL) with a big heart who buys his clothes at the Big and Tall men’s shop. (LOL.) I don’t fit the little puny clothes they make at the GAP and such. GAP doesn’t sell clothes for big football player-type dudes like me. I’ve often thought their clothes were clothes designed by midgets for midgets… but of course I have no prejudices about midgets.
***One reason I have probably never dressed up like a cowboy is because they don’t make too many cowboy boots that fit 21” calves. Sorry, it’s in the breeding. I come from a meat-and-potato-fed pure Grade A Michigan farm land family.
I’m a well-traveled man with many cool adventure stories, an honor student, an honor’s officer (Vice President of Fellowship 2004-2005), civic minded, registered to vote, a published research author, an acknowledged scholar and research presenter (University of Delaware, 2008), an excellent student, a talented telecommunications engineer, formerly a highly skilled steel rule die maker, an amazingly talented professional musician, songwriter and guitarist, holder of several belts in Shaolin Kung Fu martial arts, and one day when I grow up I want to be a tenured university professor.
I DO NOT argue religion, but I am not ashamed for the world to know…
…And above all, I am a very passionate Christian man who serves his Lord Jesus Christ with all sincerity, passion and ever increasing faith. If you do not believe in God, I will never argue my faith with you, nor will I ever bash my Bible into your head. But instead I will simply live the life I believe is described in the Bible and let God reveal Himself to you through the miracles you will undoubtedly see Him perform in my life and the example of His light shining through my life. That is my greatest testimony to my fellow human beings. Without compromise, I stand for what I believe. If you don’t agree with me and my faith, then please live in peace and move on. But I have a hunch you are going to be watching me out of the corner of your eye… just to see if this is real. If you ever sincerely want to know how to get what it is that I got then please ask me in sincerity and I would be happy to help you find the path. It is not my path, but my Father’s path, and he will help you walk it, even when human beings let you down. He’s never failed me yet, and never will, and all I can say is “Come quickly, Lord Jesus.” My Redeemer, my Deliverer, my Rock, my Fortress, my Shepherd, and my God. In Him I will put all my trust. Send me a message!

feralcatlady : 11/02/08 True Love Love can always conquer Whatever discord brings And love can also cover A multitude of things Don't you under estimate What love can ever do For love is God eternal And His love can renew What is cold and lifeless Now lost all hope and died For love can breathe new meaning And give it back new life Please don't give up on love When it seems that all is lost For there is always hope If we're prepared to pay the cost For love is always worth it No matter how much the price For love will be much stronger When we trust in Jesus Christ We crossed paths with good reason, and I cherish our friendship and love always....
