So, the headline is just a quote from my cousin... she sat up in her sleep the other night and said it, and went back to sleep. It was hilarious... anyway, moving on, :P

I'm a determined individual. I have goals in life and I expect and push myself to meet those goals. I also have morals...and I'm in love with Christ :) I laugh. I live. I love music, animals, poetry, sports, computers/technology, and nature. I'm currently working on obtaining my bachelor's degree in biomedical science, but have changed a few ideas of what I want to do with it. I was pre-vet, and am considering become a specialized nurse in pediatrics or surgery. I own 2 horses, 2 cats, 2 ferrets, 2 parrots, 3 rabbits, 2 rats, and a plethora of fish.

If you are a person that possesses a rare thing called intelligence, please waste no time in contacting me. I do not care what anyone says: Intelligence is SEXY. There's nothing like getting to know someone through a nice, meaningful, in-depth, intellectual conversation. However, a respectable personality has to be around to balance it, as a great personality means the world to me.

A few random things about me:
1. I'm stubborn and strong-willed (don't tell me I can't do something unless you want to be proven wrong)
2. I have a problem with wanting to please everyone, and you're going to hear the phrase: "I don't know," a million times with me. It's not that I'm indecisive (well, maybe..ha), but I'm very much submissive and just want the other person to be happy so I'd rather them have their way
3. I'm not very family oriented with my family, but I want a family of my own someday
4. I have a few OCD's, ask me about them and I might divulge such information
5. I'm not afraid of dying, as I already know where I am going.
6. I have nerve damage in my left knee from a horse show accident (I competed for 3 years)
7. I love cuddling
8. I'm VERY anal about grammar and spelling. How is it that there are many foreigners who can speak and write in our language, yet so many born and raised Americans, whose native language IS English, can't get past the 3rd or 4th grade level when it comes to writing? It's not that hard, people!
9. It's not that I'm mean, or arrogant...but I cannot stand being around ill-educated people (that's politically correct for stupid people), except under extenuating circumstances. I have a knack for liking intellectual conversations, and if you can't even manage to hold part of one, well, then I don't think we're going to get along very well :-\ I do, however, give everyone a fair chance.

11. I'll admit it... my guilty pleasure is playing WoW. Yes, I'm a girl and I'm addicted to WoW. My Tauren Hunter will kick your ass :)

I possess what one might call an eclectic ear. I absolutely love music. You name it, I probably like it, and if not, I've at least heard of it. I don't dislike genres - I dislike particular songs. There's a great song in every genre, and I'll argue this until the day I die. I do, however, like some genres more than others. This would basically be anything rock. Hard, classic, alternative, punk, new-age, you name it...if it's related to rock, I'll love it. Some of my favorite rock bands would be Killswitch Engage, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Coheed and Cambria, Slipknot, Godsmack, Disturbed, Shadows Fall, Finger Eleven, Glass Intrepid, Stone Sour, Breaking Benjamin, Evans Blue, Skillet, A Change of Pace, Abandon, etc.

--I tend to have a hard time expressing my feelings accurately to the people in my life, so I tend to write it out through poetry. I've completed over 4 full journals. They're my babies, haha. But really... I find poetry to be very soothing, in both writing and reading it. If you write, you get mucho bonus points!

I happen to have a liking for change. I love changing my hair color, getting crazy, funky haircuts, etc. I am also a fan of piercings and tattoos...most people look at me twice when I say that because I suppose I don't seem like that kind of person. Oh well :) I've yet to get a tattoo, but I have one planned that I drew up. I have 2-gauge ears, 16ga rooks, my septum (but don't always wear jewelry in it) and my tongue pierced.

I love SPORTS! I played varsity volleyball and basketball in highschool, and did 4 years of competitive horse shows (english 3-day eventing, but I doubt anyone on here knows what that is, ha ha). I love watching basketball, baseball, football, volleyball, etc. I probably watch ESPN more than your average guy does. Actually, when it comes to TV, sports-related shows or games are probably the only thing I do watch. (not much time for TV anymore, otherwise)

If you've managed to make it this far, I commend you. Right now, I only want friends/people to talk to :) Everyone likes friends, right?. As for the guys/girls I get along with: Nerdy (yes, I said it), has a great sense of humor, intelligent, witty, sarcastic, NOT narcissistic in any way, fashion or form.

So, this is me in a rather large nutshell. Take it or leave it, I don't particularly care :) I am myself and I'm happy with that :D I am definitely weird though...but hey, weird is good!
