Hello there. Just to give you an idea about me, here are some of the things I love: Weekends at home, friends over for dinner with beautiful food, wonderful wine, talking and laughing, great family get togethers. I have a terrible itch for wanderlust and adventure and the desire to get away from time to time. I enjoy quiet evenings at home, cooking dinner, opening a bottle of wine, and a movie, but also an upscale evening now and then. I enjoy camping in the mountains or at the ocean. I am affectionate and passionate about my passions whether it be in love or the other things I enjoy? Are you? Do you love to touch? To be touched? I am a fortunate woman I have two sons. A 23 year old who is on his own now and an 12 year old whom I have half of the time. I also have a very demanding job that I love and for which I sometimes travel. I am creative, reasonably attractive, spontaneous but also love things planned. I am a very good cook and love to make my family and guests comfortable and welcome.

Okay, enough about me. Lets talk about you. Are you articulate and intelligent? I would love it if you've travelled and are a little worldly wise. Would you laugh with me? I don't even mind if you laugh AT me. Just laugh. Would respect, honesty, and shared interests be important to you? They are to me. Are you compassionate? I don't mean sensitive. Sorry, I am not politically correct and am not a feminist and don't believe men and women are equal or even alike. We have very different qualities that make us unique and special and when combined are absolutey amazing when the differences are recognized. I am not interested in a feminized version of a man. It is a real man that captures my attention. One who is strong in body and spirit, knows his place in the world, goes after what he wants, protects those he loves, speaks his mind thoughtfully and truthfully, believes in God, and commands respect.

It is my hope that I would be strong when you need my strength, but could I lean on you when I am weak? Would you share your coffee with me in the morning and in the evening talk to me about your day while we sip wine and make dinner? Would you find it better if we helped each other and didn't fight, avoided drama, confrontation and competition? Could we discuss differences and solutions without heated argument? Do you like women with old fashioned values? Would you treat me like a woman? Woo me, romance me, seduce me? When you hold me would your arms be solid and strong? Can you fix a leaky faucet? Could I tell you my secrets? Would you be strong enough to stand up to me, to tell me when I've hurt you, to tell me when I'm wrong. Would you give me good reason to respect you?

Life is difficult sometimes and in a relationship there are hills and valleys. A strong commitment is necessary to take us through those tough times when we might prefer to be alone or when the grass suddenly looks greener on the other side of the fence. I am willing to ride out the difficult times and find incredible joy in the good times. Can you do that? We have all been through hard times. Most do not have what it takes to go the distance and will bail from a relationship when things get a little rocky. Lets talk about it. Help me to communicate with you. Here is something else...we cannot be responsible for each other's happiness. What a heavy responsibility to place on each other.
