Made the choice a few years ago to not date so I could raise my last son...son has moved out and I am ready to go. Very community oriented with a lot of volunteer work (mostly Red Cross now). I want someone who I feel just as happy being with at a breakfast table reading the paper over a cup of coffee, as I feel being on a trip with, or at a club dancing. It is all in enjoying those small moments when you share a quiet smile that says so many things others around you will never hear. I like savoring special moments with someone special. I want someone who is not so wrapped up in money they forget the value of appreciating the things which are free. Don't misunderstand, I enjoy nice things, nice places, etc...but no more than I enjoy a quiet night by a fire with a book eating pizza. I prefer someone who is VERY comfortable in his own skin enough to not have constant company in order to feel okay. I prefer someone who appreciates women and their differences as much as I appreciate, respect, and envy the differences men offer. I prefer someone who is open to other points of view, options, and ways of looking at life. I really do want someone with which I can have an intellectual conversation. If you HATE your ex or your mom, please don't contact me. I understand some anger may be involved in your remaining feelings, but please not hate.
