Hi! I've been single now for over 5 years and it has been quite the experience! (or should I say education?) Honestly, I don't like being single - but I'm at a point where I really like who I am and I am happy and positive the vast majority of time. (OK, I'm a woman so I DO have to have the occasional emotional moment or they kick me out of the club :) ) So, what do you want to know? What I offer or what I'm looking for? How about a bit of both? First, I will focus on being your friend. If I can't really get to know you, support you and encourage and have fun with you... there is no foundation for anything else. So, I don't rush into exclusivity. I'm focused on seeing if we can click and have a good, old-fashioned, healthy friendship. Then, if we both want more we can look at that at that time. Unconventional? Perhaps! Wanna give it a try?

I have 3 amazing kids (I attribute that to the great books on parenting I've run upon and that God has helped me a bit more with them since I lost my husband to cancer - I'm definatly blessed here) My kids and I have a family partnership arrangement. I'm the CEO, but my job is to train them so I put myself out of a job or at the very least my job gets easier all the time. We pray together. We read outloud together both Christian AND lots of other great literary works. We HUG each other and tell each other we LOVE each other every single day! To me all the training in the world is worthless without the hug and the I love You's! Oh, and everyone does chores.

I am a business owner and have been 'self employed' most of the 20+ years I've worked. I've never had my kids in full-time daycare even though I've always made money. Consequently, I believe in hard work and that men should be financially stable. If I can do it juggling 3 kids why on earth can't he - kinda attitude. Hope that isn't mean - just prefer to be with people who are capable and believe in themselves. I like to be inspired!

I love to travel. We have been to many of the states and also some foreign traveling. I would LOVE to have someone come and carry all our baggage! JUST KIDDING! If you didn't laugh its because I'm still working on my sense of humor and its coming along slowly! But seriously, long term I'd love to be able to have someone to travel with alone and with the kids. I love the simple camping over the weekend and I love the big passport trips with 16 hours in the airports to get there. Wanna join us?

X spouses. Just a couple things - if your lifestyle is you are divorced legally - great. But no "I'm separated" arrangements- marriage is a sacred thing. Also, please.... if you are still mowing your X's lawn and spending most holidays with your X you don't have emotional room for me. I understand that disengaging from a marriage is a process, not an event... but its not my job to get you emotionally over her. I offer no complications from an X. I DO understand that a good relationship with your X is important to your kids. What I don't want though is to be a '2nd wife'. Some of you know what I'm talking about because you've run into women who aren't detached too. Please, true single men only need apply! Again, I'm not trying to be mean. I just really want to be with the right man at the right time!

FUN? So what's fun? I love softball, motorcycle rides, sporting events, fishing, hitting a tennis ball around and being outdoors on nice days (I get cold easy so I tend to like moving sports in the winter i.e. skiing). I also enjoy gardening, going to the theatre, a great restaurant or just checking out a new park for a hike, picnic or bike ride. I like the simple things and the fancy things! I work out 5 days a week and I have taken good care of myself so I can keep enjoying all the great things life has to offer. I'm not 'into' one thing. I'm a diversity person. So come join me in the banquet of things life has to do and let's go play as hard as we work!
