Well, it seems my profile seems like a truth stretcher. This is what my female friends tell me (the never mention my looks though). My profile is 100%, happy to prove it. I am supposed to be divorced, not taking care of my kids, and not working or such.
The 'set up dates' just do not go well for me, the bar scene has plenty of physically attractive women I can notice through the smoke cloud, but I have to refuse meeting a lady there. I seem to fail in explaining to specific women we cannot date, like co-workers or 19 year olds. Finding a friend would be great, but I truly want to start building something.
My job keeps me hoping the country and every once in a while overseas. No joke, I’m a Hydrocarbon Measurement Auditor with degrees that are totally wrong for what I do. The best example is my MBA from the Univ. of Oklahoma (very exciting stuff).
Too often people are surprised I have never married. This makes me feel a little sad and very humbled, but I did it to myself. I almost married my college sweetheart, but it was just not a forever lasting feeling I had.
I have focused too much on my career ladder and finally understand what ‘they’ meant when they say it is a lonely lifestyle; even if you are not at the top, yet.
