You walk into the apartment... The smell of pot and cigarettes fills your nose as you make your way towards the couch in the den. Drumsticks, pads, guitar picks, strings, and assorted nut and bolts lay scattered across the floor. You pick up a guitar and start strumming around, waiting for me to finish my shower and take you out.

The door to the bathroom opens and the faint sound of some unsigned, unknown local metal band follows me as I walk up to you and kiss your forehead, my way of hello. A small exchange of the days events precede another kiss, and I walk back to my room. Five minutes later, I re-emerge, now clean, shaved, and dressed; ready for the night.

We walk out of the apartment, hand in hand, and make our way to my car out front. We drive, talking, laughing, and singing along to the radio, until we make it to whatever restaurant we decided on. The dinner is nice, with great atmosphere and enthralling conversation. After the last sips of our drinks, we pay the waitress and get back to the car. This time, however, the air has changed. I am silent, determined as I drive down the busy highway towards the venue. After twenty minutes on the road, we arrive. The parking lot is full of vans and cars, with bands sitting around and talking, going over their sets, and getting pumped.

We get out of the car, and with one more kiss we go our separate ways. I walk over to Ed as he painstakingly tunes each one of his guitars to sheer audial perfection. I set up my drums in the waiting area next to the stage and go out for one last smoke before the show starts.

What I just described is more or less my perfect date. My name is Caleb, and I'm a drummer for a couple bands. I'm 19 years young and look forward to each coming day. When I'm not out playing shows or practicing with my band, I like to skateboard, work on my cars, and hang out with my friends. After I get home and shower, I'm normally spotted at a friend's apartment, some bar in the area, or the mall.

Looks-wise, I'm still convinced that I'm not attractive. What you think is your opinion. I have longish brown hair and green eyes. My ears are both gauged to 5/8", with clear plugs. I've got three tattoos at the moment and plan on getting more. I'm shorter than average, but try not to let it stop me.
